This is the absolute best place around to get your skates sharpened! Great prices and always the best service. The staff are not only super friendly, but they really know their stuff. Now if only they could teach me how to score, I’d be all set.

Had a very pleasant experience here yesterday thanks to the man working. I needed to buy a new helmet so I could go play hockey in 40 minutes. After checking Cleve’s and Sport Chek I was getting stressed out as I wasn’t finding anything I liked. So I found this shop on Google and figured I’d come try it out. When I got there and explained what I was looking for he was very quick to recommend something for me. When I asked for the price he rang it into his system, it came up $249.99 however *without me asking* he said “I see the box has a sticker saying $189.99 so that’s what I can do”. We chatted some more and when I decided I was ready to purchase, he asked me to give him a second... He then searched that model helmet into Google and found one for $179.99 so he gave me that price saying he wants all his customers to know they’re getting the best possible deal.I always like to research before purchasing a product, but yesterday I needed to make a quick decision which was really stressing me out until I walked into this shop. The gentlemen working was very genuine and knowledgeable and made me feel great about my new helmet purchase. I highly recommend checking this place out next time you need gear.

Conveniently located inside the Qplex for a quick skate sharpening or a variety of hockey gear for sale. The service here is the best. The gentleman working at the proshop today was outstanding and they will go out of their way to give you honest and professional advice on what you need.

Goalie skates were sharpened with great precision. I went for a good skate as the Zamboni was coming out and they certainly passed!

I had some questions about Warrior Sr. Hockey sticks. Tim helped answer a few and then informed me about Warriors sample sticks to take and use on the ice. After a game and practice with a sample loaner stick we made our decision what stick we would buy. I totally recommend this if you are unsure what curve/flex pattern suits you best. Pricing was the best around too!

Excellent service, customer satisfaction is off the charts. Tim does a phenomenal job every time on my skate sharpening's. Tim is the only person I trust to touch my skates and to consult with for my sports needs. The knowledge of the product and personal connection you learn and receive is unlike any other business out there. Definitely would recommend stopping in sometime!

Every time that the twins have been skating at the Qplex, Tim always has something nice to say, makes time for them, and treats them as superstars. They love talking and interacting with him as he is so friendly and outgoing. Great customer service!

I want to thank Rinkside Sports owner Al Frizell and staff for their prompt customer service I had this past weekend at the Quispamsis Qplex. One of my my hockey skate blades had broke and was in need of prompt repair. After reaching out to the owner and following up the very next day at the store, my skate was permanently repaired with a new blade within minutes - I also got a free sharpen! Great response, attention to detail and excellent customer service. I've been everywhere to have my goal skates sharpened and this is the best spot to get them done. Always friendly, quick service at a good price. They also have a decent selection of hockey paraphernalia that includes goalie equipment.
