Store was clean and easy to navigate. Customer service was terrible. Waited for 10 minutes to try on boots, had to go to the counter where 3 employees were standing around talking. Got a size and then walked away. Will be ordering online whenever possible to avoid this kind of experience.

I was lucky enough to get employee pricing through Canadian Tire Mastercard (cost + 10%) this last weekend. My family went to 4 Sport Check/Atmosphere stores over the 3 days, spending $2500.00 in total. Great deals but at this store even though we spent over $1500.00 we found some of the Atmosphere employees to be lacking in customer service attitude. Small things such as willing to store a couple items until we come back to pickup a kayak we purchased, or just coming across as friendly. Never hurts to smile or joke around when your in customer service. When we went today to pickup the kayak, we asked the Sport Check guy at the ski department where we would go to pickup the Kayak. He was great in that he radioed over and got things organized. He along with i'm assuming the lady he talked to from the Atmosphere department carried the kayak out. I was a little put back with her comment We can't help you load the kayak for liability reasons. Although she went back to the store the sales person from the Sport Check ski department helped us load it regardless. Five stars to him zero stars to her!I'm giving 3 stars as they have staff that probably should look for a different industry to be in and some great staff. Not everyone I guess is cut out for customer service."

This is a large store with a great selection of sporting goods, mostly focused on hockey and shoes on the main floor and outdoor gear on the second level.

Located on the 2nd level of west Edmonton mall, enter through sport chek. They have a 3rd level specifically for Atmosphere. Geared for camping, outdoor wear, paddling, climbing, and backpacking. Special shout out to James. He's been there a long time, and has become our go to expert for outdoor gear. Thanks again for helping us navigate black Friday James!

They gave me a pretty good deal. Miles better than anything I could find online. Pretty wide range of products and the staff was always willing to help.

It's pretty decent.Pros: inside the mall close to a bunch of other stores, the staff is amazing (friendly & helpful), the layout is easy to navigate (there are also directional signs.Cons: The selection in the camping isn't the best. Limited stock & variety on a lot of items. Especially gear wise.

My partner and I were shopping for a jacket for her in the ladies section at Atmosphere and the sales rep made her feel very uncomfortable. My partner is in the process of transitioning (transgender) and the reason the sale rep made us feel very uncomfortable was due to her constant staring from afar at my partner while she was just trying to shop for a jacket in peace. As I said, my partner felt really embarrassed and just wanted to leave the store... Which we did.I really hope that the management staff at all Atmosphere franchises (not just this one) can teach their staff the importance of inclusion and teach their staff what are disrespectful behaviors towards people of gender-minorities.

Love stopping in every time I'm near. Knowledgeable staff, great selection and prices are average to high depending on what your looking for.

This is a great store that I frequent but I'm here to instead compliment Atmosphere on the egift cards that you can order online and personalize plus you can have sent at specific times to your recipient. Don't like malls or shopping? Don't like lines or maybe you have someone special that needs to try on things before you buy it for their birthday but want to have something for them during the celebration? EGift is a great and easy way!

Great Store, Huge Selection, Good Prices. I like Atmosphere a lot. I usually can Find all I need for Camping, Hiking, Climbing, Water Sports between Atmosphere and Another Large Outdoor Store. Atmosphere can Usually Beat the Prices of the Other Store, so I always Check here First. They however are Loyal to Certain Brands so their Selection can be a Little Meager. Anyways 5 Stars for Atmosphere.
