Melissa Kelly Dance Academy gives your child the opportunity to learn and grow as a dancer. There are so many opportunities available. They offer a variety of classes such as jazz, hip hop, and even musical theater.

Melissa is such a hard working and dedicated instructor. Her passion and energy shines through in every one of her students. Above all, she has created an atmosphere of positivity and excitement, that is greatly appreciated. She also has the most kick butt studio manager named Mardi ;)

We are very pleased with Melissa Kelly. She is extremely talented, and actually gets involved in the dancing. She is available for the girls on a personal level and really cares.

Tried contacting this studio multiple times to know if they took in student with disabilities but got a vague condescending and unhelpful answers. No one can tell me if I can enrol my son or not to this accademy, no one seems to know anything. Extremely disapointed, I have a feeling this might have to do with the fact that Im not as well off as some other people who are at this dance studio? Or because of the special needs of my child? Disgusting and very judgemental.

I went to the most recent recital, and was very impressed with the type of show that Melissa Kelly and her dancers put on. It's exciting, energetic and you can tell that the dancers really enjoy performing for the audience. The only issue I had with the recital itself was that the audience was told that they were unable to use flash photography, or take videos during the show. As most situations like that go, people were taking videos anyway. During the show the security was walking around making people turn off their videos if they found someone that was taking a video. I was one of them, and let me tell you, I was unable to enjoy the show afterwards. I realize that a VERY EXPENSIVE DVD is sold during the show; however, I don't want a video of the entire show. I want to be able to take a video of the dancer I went to watch and zoom in on her. I know how much money the parents spend at the dance school, and I think threatening to kick out anyone who wants to video tape their child, grandchild, etc. is a little extreme. Dancing should be about the enjoyment the kids get out of it, not how much extra money you can make by selling a DVD and not allowing people to video tape during the show. As good as these dancers are; they are AMATURE dancers. Melissa Kelly should seriously consider changing her video tape rule before she looses dancers because of upset and angry parents. I know the parents of the dancer I went to watch were very upset about what happened and as a result, the dancer will not be returning to Melissa Kelly next year. Melissa Kelly is great with the kids, the school in general is awesome, and the year end recital is worth going to and that's what I'm basing my rating on. But that video tape rule needs to go

For a place that promotes health and wellness in children I am appalled to see that MKDA is promoting vaccination for dancers in the upcoming season. It is a well known fact that this experimental poison is not for children under 12 which would make up most of the dancers. Advising children to inject this untested poison in their developing systems sure in contradictory to what a dance academy is supposed to promote. All respect and support is lost for MKDA, here's hoping the other dance schools have more sense, what a shame.

I have just met this studio at a dance competition in Niagara falls and all I have to say is it makes me want to move to Timmins to join this team!!! The way support each other is out of this world. The choreography is beautiful, meaningful and absolutely AMAZING!!! You will be a studio I will never forget. You truly make the whole meaning behind the saying Dance is Joy of Movement and the Heart of Life""

Love Melissa's new ideas. She always has new ideas. I like her way of teaching and she is very out going. Classes are always fun and there is never any stress.

I love how fun and exciting the staff at Melissa Kelly Dance Academy make the classes. Going to dance is my daughter's favorite part of the day.
