Not worth your time for either buying or selling. The amount you spend on transport to get here will be more than they offer you for your items, and not many interesting items in store for exchange. However, staff is friendly and the store is cute. Also beware of evaluating items on the weekend, they get busy and you will often have to come back.

I haven’t swapped any clothes here yet but I did like the products they carry, and bought a few items! They carry Paddywax candles and incense sticks as well as products from Compagnie de Provence. Details on their second hand clothing swaps are on their website.

I love this place! The perfect way to swap clothing, I love that it’s well curated but not overly pricey. They know what they are looking for when they «  buy » I’d say it all depends what they already have in stock so it’s worth bringing it back another time sometimes ! Over all a lot easier than trying to sell items 1 by 1 online

Scam and a gimmick. Worst thrift store ever.Barely any clothes.Walk in, first thing you see is table full of mass produced items while in the far sad lonely corner, a few hangers of clothes for sale.Shop is filled with overpriced lifestyle items like candles, mugs, holders, brushes, soaps, and etc. It's obvious they don't make money off the clothes. Notice how even in pictures they don't advertise them as much in their photos except to clump them together?Unbelievably stingy with their credit system. I asked for cash, they split the 10$ cash credit instead 5$ in cash and 5$ in store credit.Unbelievable.I wish they were honest and just drop the thrift store tag. It's just another generic feel-good store with kitsch items at the same prices as other stores. The thrift is just a gimmick to fool consumers, to greenwash their image, and also not pay their share of the credits.Capitalists, amirite?Better off at Eva A and Eva B.Better selection, much better prices, and much less pomp and pretention.

Couldn’t agree more with some of the comments. Complete waste of time and the worst place for buying back used clothes because I don’t even think they went through the items I brought. The bags were given back to me the exact same way of how the clothes were placed when I handed it to them. I was surprised that they wouldn’t take anything as I have a few very nice Zara, H&M, Guess, Dynamite blouses/dresses rarely used or never even wear. At first they said I don’t have the brands they like. When I told them a lot of the clothes are from the brands listed on their website, then they said the style doesn’t fit with the store. Lol.

BOYCOTT EMPIRE EXCHANGE. If they want people’s business, THEY NEED TO START OFFERING PEOPLE A FAIR PRICE FOR THEIR ITEMS. It’s actually ridiculous. Not to mention the stank face the manager gave us as soon as we walked into the store. We were going to buy some sunglasses but decided not to because of how rude she was. They offered 9$ for GENUINE LEATHER PANTS, NEVER WORN. My partner bought it for $50 online and never wore it because it was too small. We’re willing to sell it for $25, 31 inch waist and 31 inch length. LETS BUILD OUR OWN FAIR COMMUNITY OF TRADING GOODS.

This is my first time reviewing something on Google cause I felt like I should give a warning:I booked an appointment to donate 1 medium sized and 1 small bag of clothes. On their website, they withhold a very important piece of information you should know: they only accept higher end brands. When you book an appointment, they show you a list of “restrictions” such as no tears, not overworn, clean, etc. But There’s absolutely no mention of the brand restrictions. I dragged 2 bags with me on a bus for over 40min, I arrived & I gave them the clothes. All clean, folded, barely used (and most never worn), unstained in perfect condition. They said they would send me a text in about 20 min when they have “gone through” the clothes since that’s how long it would take. I leave and about 3 mins later I get a text saying I can come back. I thought it was odd since it was really quick. When I came back, a woman said to me, with an awkward & rude tone that they wouldn’t be buying any of the clothes I brought. I felt awkward so I kinda laughed and said “ohh ok.., that was really fast” (I thought it was weird they vetted each item of clothing and two heels in 3 mins, that it made me wonder if they truly checked every single one or if they stopped after they didnt like some) and then she said “yeah… we just don’t accept those brands”. I politely said okay no problem, smiled and left.I’m not upset that they wouldn’t accept the clothes I had. I’m upset that they don’t give proper warnings about the clothing style restrictions. It’s a waste of time otherwise. And looking around the store it seemed like the style was more vintage fashion & styles usually much older people would enjoy. But you wouldn’t know this unless you’ve visited the store firsthand. I’m a 25 year old woman. My suggestion: call ahead and asked them if they’ll accept the specific brands of the clothes/shoes you’re trying to give away.
