We had called to have someone come to look at our gas pool heater. Originally we got a call back right away, Paul advised that someone would be out on Monday. Two very nice men showed up to look and said a part needed to be obtained to fix it. We received a call Monday afternoon saying Paul should call us back that day or the next to confirm if a part was obtained. We never received a call. We called back twice, and left messages which received no response. Very poor customer experience. Would not recommend this company.

We had a new fireplace fan installed. The employee arrived early and did a great job. We highly recommend this company!

Excellent customer service. They replaced our furnace when it broke last year and were easy to work with, were able to come out quickly, and were reasonably priced. We now use them for all our yearly maintenance. Highly recommend!

Our furnace stopped working suddenly. I had had Mead Mechanical do some install work for us previously on a fireplace and fire table, so I was familiar with their work already. Paul answered the phone immediately and dispatched one of his crew, Colin, who showed up to our house within 15 minutes (!) and got right to work. Colin explained what the issue was and fixed it quite promptly, then explained the bill to me and made sure I didn’t have any questions. He made some good recommendations and was on his way. Heat’s back on within an hour, fantastic!

Excellent service and install crew was very professional and were able to answer all of our questions. I would definitely recommend Paul and his crew for any of your heating or cooling needs. Thank you for the great customer service.

Thank you to Paul and his staff for helping us replace our 12 year old water heater, when it sprung a leak. We appreciate the quick service, despite their schedule being full during this heat wave. I contacted Paul on Saturday and we had a new water heater by late afternoon on Tuesday. These guys are top notch!

Terrible service. Never shows up when he says he will. Paul commits to a job, then needs to be called a dozen times to get him to follow through. Doesn't complete the job. Gets paid and lies about completing the job. Hired another company and found out he didn't do the job he was hired to do. Leaves the heating and cooling system without a filter, caused hundreds in damage. Irresponsible, horrible customer service. He charges you for work he doesn't even do and you have no way of knowing until you hire another tech! Paul is not reliable, dishonest, lies about what he's charged you for and blames you for issues that he's hired to take care of. DO NOT call Paul Mead, worst company in Brantford! Stay away from this unprofessional, liar and cheater, not reputable!

This is a company truly worthy of a 5-Star rating. I would recommend Mead Mechanical to anyone in need of HVAC service or repair. They have bailed me out on 3 separate occasions when my furnace and AC unit failed. They also arrive promptly, are excellent with diagnostics, explain things thoroughly and do what they can to keep the cost of repairs down. On one occasion they discovered a safety issue that another company had overlooked which could have been potentially very dangerous. These are the type of small businesses that you hope to find. From start to finish, this was a very positive experience and I will always call Paul and his team for help with our Furnace and Air Conditioner.We just recently moved to Brantford and didn’t know who to call. We turned on our furnace and immediately realized we were experiencing problems and saw that the last service was back in 2014.My boys and I googled and found Mead Mechanic…I was skeptical as to who we had come into our home as I didn’t want o find a pushy sales person. I was worried that someone was going to try to sell everything under the sun. If I was told I had to get a new furnace I wouldn’t know any different but was scared to this being the case.When I looked on the Mead website I was drawn to the fact that they are a family business and I wanted to believe what the website said about the team being professional, friendly and comes to you with customer service at heart. I didn’t have to just hope - customer service is at the heart of their business.Paul was professional and clearly explained everything to us. His team changed our filter, unplugged a clogged pipe, serviced our furnace and made some great recommendation for things we can do to help with the longevity of our furnace.Paul and his crew was helpful, polite, approachable very ethical, down to earth, genuine and professional.I would highly recommend Mead Mechanical to anyone and everyone.I am very grateful for their help.

I had this company install a furnace at my old house and another in my new house a few years later and also had them do some gas-line work in my new house. At my old house before the furnace install Paul said I would get a government rebate for my new furnace and according to the government he was not even registered with the government for the rebate program, I'm not sure if he is registered now. I tried to contact him about this but he never got back to me; I guess I should have realized here that he doesn't care.A few years later....I needed someone to install a vent to the outside over my gas range so I called Mead. Paul came and quoted me a price which I replied back that the job was his. I never got a call back. Also he said he would contact me about furnace maintenance in the fall which he never did.
