Nicole went above and beyond with our wedding, to all my friends who are debating having an event planner, let me tell you that on your wedding day you want to be focused on you and your husband and the incredible milestone of your wedding, not the small details. Which is exactly what Nicole is focused on. It is well worth the money, Nicole did all our decor, set up and takedown, made sure everyone went down the aisle at the right time, she even hand poured citronella candles for our outdoor ceremony. Our whole wedding ran like clock-work. I know the cost can seem overwhelming but I assure you it, it is definitely worth it. Nicole was there to answer questions and give me advice about lots of vendors because she knew and worked with many, advice I would not have had without her. Things that I had no idea like who is a good seamstress, or what is the typical order of a reception (she created a timeline). If you want to be stressed on the day of and put a lot on your family members go for it, but I would've paid triple what Nicole cost us. My husband and I don't regret a thing about our wedding, in no small part due to Nicole I am sure. Thanks Nicole! Love T&J

Where do we even start... first of all if you're someone who thinks we don't need a wedding/event planner... we can do this on our own" like we were.. Please at least do yourself the favour and meet with Nicole

Nicole was absolutely amazing! She ensured that my vision was executed perfectly and made sure every detail was taken care of. If anyone is looking for a planner or wedding day coordinator, I could not recommend her enough! Nicole is truly a master of her craft. She was a huge part of what made our day flawless and I am forever grateful :) I cannot say enough nice things about her - I could go on and on! Thank you for everything, Nicole!

I hired Sugar Plum for a wedding SOS and it was the best thing I could have done! I feel like I got way more out of it than I paid :DAlthough we wanted to have a reception for friends and family, after rescheduling our wedding three times, (and eventually eloping), we were totally uninspired and dragging our feet. I had a venue and date but I lost the excitement for planning the rest. Nicole was awesome! I came away from our session with everything I was missing and a new game plan. She helped me figure out everything I was worried about and sent me home with a list of to-do's and a timeline and recommended vendors. We even drew up the floor plan, talked about décor, music, EVERYTHING! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

My husband and I decided to hire a day of coordinator last minute, only a week before our wedding day. We were overwhelmed with all the little details that we knew needed to come together on the day of our wedding, and we wanted to be able to enjoy the day with our friends and family without worrying. We contacted Nicole, and she was INCREDIBLE! By far one of the best wedding planning decisions we made and well worth every penny. She was so helpful, bringing our day together perfectly! Nicole was there early the morning of our wedding, setting up everything exactly as we had dreamed of. She listened to our vision for the day and brought it to life for both our ceremony and reception! She also helped coordinate our wedding ceremony so that everything went smoothly and everyone was where they were supposed to be at the right time. My husband and I didn't have to worry about a single thing the day of our wedding because Nicole had it all covered. We are so happy we hired her and would highly recommend her services for anyone planning a wedding!

I would recommend Nicole at Sugar Plum a thousand times over!! I cannot even begin to explain the journey we endured, having to postpone our wedding a year due to COVID. From the very beginning Nicole was professional, helpful, accommodating, and by the end it was clear she really is a miracle worker!!She worked with us to reschedule (who knows how many times), and made sure that our event was exactly how we envisioned it! The day of coordination is a must - you should not be worrying about logistics on your special day! Nicole is very easy to work with, and will do everything she can to make sure your day is exactly as you dreamed it. My husband and I met Nicole in a super unfortunate way as only a couple of weeks before our wedding our wedding decorator sadly passed away. We had got an email saying Nicole from Sugar Plum Events would be willing to take over our wedding. After our first discussion we weren’t really sure if it was a match simply because we weren’t looking for an event coordinator as most of the wedding was planned. After some discussion Nicole offered to organize everything we needed (which was only decoration) but she did so much more. As someone who struggles with making decisions I was super anxious to have to pick everything all over again but she made it so easy. She looked at what we had decided on before and found everything I was looking for. When I wasn’t sure on a choice she had an eye for what would look good even if it wasn’t the first thing I chose. She made sure everything was going to look amazing! She helped with things I wouldn’t have even thought about! Nicole was available at almost every time of the day and was super easy to communicate with. Even though she wasn’t hired as an event coordinator she came to the venue to make sure we knew how to work the lights, she came to help set everything up and made sure what my vision was exactly what was happening at the venue. On top of it all her little helper (her daughter) helped keep my mom calm the day before the wedding! Over all I would 100% use Nicole again and if you have the budget for a coordinator/ event planner Nicole will make sure your day is perfect and is super easy!

Having Nicole for our wedding day and the months leading to it, was the single best decision we made for our day! Nicole was able to take our idea of a tented wedding on our farm, and turn it into an absolute dream. Not only did she take away the stress and anxiety that occurs when planning a wedding, but she made it so enjoyable! To have someone who kept us on track with our budget and ahead of our timelines was an absolute necessity. She was genuinely as excited for our wedding as we were!Book Nicole now! I was hired to play the piano for a wedding ceremony in which Nicole was the planner. I have played for weddings for decades and had always hoped to work with her someday, and she didn't disappoint. No detail was overlooked ---the venue looked spectacular, and she was grace under pressure as she worked her magic. She came armed with her team and everything went off flawlessly. She was so easy to work with and I'm sure her clients had the same experience. WOW! I don’t even know where to begin. My wife and I didn’t have a freaking clue how to plan a wedding. From catering to flowers, to chairs and a damn signing table they had EVERYTHING covered in a matter of hours. We wouldn’t have even remembered to bring a pen to sign our license if it wasn’t for our AMAZING planner. Who supplied anything and everything we dreamed up. We were on an extremely tight budget and STILL not a thing we dreamed of having was missed. Right down to the beautiful bridal bouquets, which were made the night before by this UNBELIEVABLY CREATIVE human in order for us to maintain our budget. I cannot recommend Sugar Plum Events more than I do. It will make your planning process wildly easy and stress free.
