Worst shopping experience of my life. The owner is a griddy scammer. DO NOT SHOP HERE.I went to the store today to get two chains and a bracelet repaired. The owners charged me $86 and asked me to come back in about an hour. When I got back I realized that one of the chains they were giving back to me was not the same. I have had this chain for about 16 years now, it was a heavy silver chain that my grand parents gave me back in the days. I have had it for so long that I knew right away it wasn't my chain. So I confronted them. They kept on insisting that this is what I gave them but it was not. They gave me a way lighter chain that is also way shorter. I asked him to double check the back room because I initially thought that he genuinely made a mistake and was giving me the wrong chain. He refused to do that, I asked him to check the camera and I gave him the time (2:20 pm) he went to the camera server for not even a minute and said that he can't check it right now. After 30 minutes of going back and forth, I ended up leaving. I'm going to take them to the civil court no matter how much it will cost me to do so. this is wrong and they need to be shut down. I'm going to find the certificate of my chain and pursuit a legal case against them. These people are not genuine and I feel robbed at this point. If you don't want to go through what I just went through, save yourself a headache and not shop here. I can't believe they did this to me as a customer. I though a businesses operating in the mall would be safe, little I knew I was going to be scammed. shame on them.

Rositah is the best person to talk to about all of your jewelry needs - she’s friendly, devoted a lot of time to me each time I went back to ask about sizes/seeing the rings again/etc and I never felt like she was just trying to make a sale. Every time I went to the other stores to compare prices/services they were rude and way more expensive, or they would tell me that what I wanted was possible. The people at Acinda are very helpful and they truly want to work with you to make your custom jewelry perfect.

So my husband and I got married last month and we had our rings handed down to us by family. We decided we wanted to get a brand new ring + matching wedding band that was more our style, so we went here.Rosie provided a quote (after some discussion) and gave us a quote based on our budget with a ring and matching wedding band we had selected. So we ordered them on the spot because we LOVED them. We used our original center diamond from our previous ring, and traded in the two gold bands as a store credit. She had originally provided us a higher quote, then lowered it based on the budget we provided her - as I was placing my order I had asked her how she was able to accommodate our budget and she said something about the surrounding diamonds being lower" and when I asked for clarification

UPDATE: please read full review. We were longtime customers who we entrusted at this jewellery business. It was always a pleasure dealing with these lovely, friendly people, I was shocked years ago when noticing other reviews from people saying that Hanson ruined their jewellery etc and thought they were full of it and stood up for this business. Lol until…. However, They ruined my rings by doing a simple resize and an appraisal by buffing so much of my gold off and removing all my husband’s beautiful inscriptions to me for our engagement and wedding day (the inscriptions went together) off both rings, even the 19k stamps on my rings disappeared! My rings were notably damaged and lighter. One diamond was chipped, and one was switched for a lower clarity diamond, deep scratches in the gold, different gold where it was soldered. My expensive rings looked horrible! We took it to a gemologist to have it Re-appraised and referred us to a notable jeweller to have the rings repaired, which cost us about $2000!!!! No idea what Hanson was thinking to buff so much gold off and do so much damage. With further investigation we also found that Hanson is not a licensed gemologist but claims he is. He refused to provide documentation to prove otherwise. PLEASE BEWARE of repairing your jewellery here! A true disappointment!

Had a good experience buying my gf a valentines gift. I dealt with the owner and got a good deal. She was patient, did not pressure me, and even insisted that I go to the other jewelry stores to compare pricing for similar rings. She also used a tester to show me that the diamonds were real which gave me more confidence in my purchase.

This is the first time shopping at Acinda and it was a terrific experience. I have been looking for the right ring for months. I’ve looked everywhere and I honestly thought I wasn’t going to find what I had in mind for my budget and found it at Acinda! Rosita was terrific to deal with, very friendly and caring and was able to size the ring for next day pick up. Thank you!!

This is the only Jewelry store in Coquitlam Centre that offers on site jewelry and watch repair. A few months ago, I visited a few jewelry stores in order to get my loose diamond ring repaired. All of them told me it would take at least a week. Ann Louse Jewellers referred me to Acinda. The owner Hanson and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Hanson tightened my loose diamond ring within a couple hours at a very reasonable cost. Today I went there again and had my OMEGA watch's battery replaced by Hanson within 10 minutes. I used to travel to Burnaby to replace the battery by a authorized OMEGA watch dealer and l had to leave the watch there for 3 to 5 days. I trust Hanson, the staff and the service. I am very happy with the excellent service, reasonable price and good location of Acinda Jewellers. I would highly recommend this store to others.

I went there to buy my wife a ring and the staff there looked very unhappy with what they were doing, very dry and rude. I I highly not recommend shopping here ever! Worst experience of my life

I had my platinum engagement ring resized here. The staff was very friendly. The price was fair and the biggest selling point was that they could get it resized in a couple of hours. The other jewelry stores I went to all gave me an estimate of 10 business days.Overall it was a good job well done. The only thing I noticed was that the section where the band was reconnected was a hairline thinner than the rest but it's on the bottom and aside from me, no would notice it.
