On Aug 29th, bought a large salmon filet, a large pack of ground beef and two ribeye steaks. Only the steaks successfully survived a few days in the fridge. I had to throw out the salmon after trying to cook it on Sept 1st - it was already spoiled. The ground beef was frozen as soon as I got home but, as it thawed a week later, it was brown and smelled of old meat. Never again.

Maxi & Cie location in Pie ix is acceptable in general, yet not as good as other great Montreal locations. They don't carry all products of their weekly specials flyer and it's a bit messy compared to other locations. Hygiene wise, it still acceptable but it not very well organized. Some products don't have visible today price and customers in general don't like to ask for assistance for such little matters since it's a time consuming.

Used to go there every week. Today i was forced to use self checkout behind a bunch of people who had no idea how it works, blocking 2 machines at once. I know they don't give a flying F... But i will go out of my way to an other grocery store from now on. I am not a cashier.

Metro products' qualities are the same as other grocery stores but are more expensive. Also when you have any complaints about the problem you confronted, instead, to help you they begin to debate you.
