Grand Salon De Guitare

I was due to write this review. I drove from Massachusetts to Montreal at the end of last year to look at some guitars at the Grand Salon de Guitare. I had contacted Paul in advance and he set up a full range of classical guitars for me to try. I had plenty of time to review the instruments, no pressure to buy any products. The salon is excellent, Paul was highly professional, and provided expert advice. I bought a guitar which was shipped to my place and arrived in impeccable conditions. My review is not different than any other review for this place, 5 stars. I highly recommend Grand Salon de Guitare. If I need another guitar, no doubts I'll drive again to Montreal. Thank you Paul.

I found the guitar salon online while looking for a Burguet guitar. From the first time I reached out to inquire Paul was extremely responsive, helpful and kind. Since I live in the United States (on the west coast) I was not able to come in person to the salon and have my questions answered. Paul’s assistance through my shopping process puts the guitar salon ahead of many other instrument retailers for me.I ended up making a guitar purchase and Paul was able to prepare the guitar, pack and ship the instrument the next day. I received the guitar within days and was pleasantly surprised with the methods used to safely and securely ship the guitar. Tape, bubble wrap, more tape, more wrap - nothing was going to happen to that guitar!My all around experience from beginning to end has been a 10/10. This is just not a place to purchase a instrument. For me this was and is a learning experience. Paul is patient and shares his knowledge. I love everything about the salon. best musical place in Montreal.

I’ve ordered strings from Grand Salon De Guitare twice and will continue to do so. They offer a far superior string selection than the big box stores, and I’ve found classical strings vary in tone and tuning depending on brand. I’m totally smitten with Knobloch Actives at the moment.Although I’m across the country the orders got to me in a very timely fashion. Me and my guitars are very happy!

Grand Salon de Guitare has a great choice of instruments for professional, aspiring professional or beginner guitarists. Paul, the owner, is awesome and will help you make a right choice. I will make sure to stop there any time I return to Montreal.

I recently bought a Comins GCS1 ES from Paul and I am just so impressed! Sure, the guitar is fantastic, but what really shines is Paul's customer service. Extremely responsive and fantastic attention to detail.I've never received a guitar that was shipped with this much care! The box was clearly marked as fragile, the guitar case was thoroughly covered with bubble wrap, the case had an oasis humidifier in it, and the case was secured with cardboard inserts. He also shipped it ASAP, which is a big deal for someone that agonized over a purchase for a month. ;)If I could buy all my guitars from Paul, I absolutely would!

The Grand Salon de Guitare is without question the best place to shop for a classical guitar in Canada from entry level to ultra high end. Very pleased with my dealings WI h Grand Salon de Guitare. Owner Paul has built up a great reputation over the years in the classical guitar world. He also has an impressive connection for jazz guitarists , including archtops and the hard-to-find Henriksen amps (Grand Salon de Guitare is the only retailer in Canada that carries them !) I went to try the amp out and Paul gave me all the space and time I needed. He is very knowledgeable about everything but the whole situation was low pressure. Thanks Paul!
