Bertrand Arena

One of the city's public skating rinks. With the amount of parking the have it's never a problem. But does get full at times. All sorts of fun are to be had here. If your like my daughter that doesn't like skating out doors. Like at the forks on the river. Which does get cold on windy days. Bertrand arens has free public skating during the fall and winter months. Check their 311.ca site for their the times. But I do believe that they have been every Wednesday from 6pm to 7pm. And Saturday from 2 pm to 3pm. Not to sure what happens during the spring and summer months, but I'm sure the there is plenty of fun to be had then too. To find out more. Love how they keep a small area sectioned off during public skate times for beginners! Makes it easy to help little ones and not feel like we are interrupting others or going too slowly.

Nice place for family skate. Great instructors for kids skate classes and they're en français. Clean and well lit facility with lots of parking.

Facilities are showing their age, but the facility has had some work done. Lights have been replaced, and vending machines have been restocked for the season. It's looking better than in past years.The rink was nice and cold so the Ice was hard.

Park of the open skate schedule for 2018. The ice is Zamboni'd before the open skate and after. There is lots of space to sit to put on/take off your skates. Clean facility.

I've never been inside the arena, but the park like grounds surrounding the building are clean, beautifully maintained, quiet and my dog's favourite place to run and fetch balls.

The arena needs some work but overall a good experience! The dressing rooms/showers were really clean and the staff friendly. But for an older building it's pretty decent.

The ice is always pretty good. The rooms are small. The neutral zone is small. Great if you're having a company or small group of people type of game. If you do a 4 on 4 with a few subs it's a perfect size.

Very clean facility the canteen is clean and good rink food, and they have pastries. Good coffee.
