Eastwood Collegiate Institute

Many poor people and I felt very unsafe. Everyone there is completely fake. Teachers can be nice and students but it's many depressed people who influenced my life for the worse.

Amazing school that specializes in different areas in the Arts (Strings, Band, Dance, Visual Arts, Drama, Vocal, Tech Crew, Set Design). Plus, Being a 5th year and being in the Integrated Arts Program since Grade 9 comes with many responsibilities. If you are Majoring in one of the Arts areas as listed above in this review, being in extracurricular activities comes with some expectations! Eastwood has lots of supportive staff & teachers. If you are struggling with work, ECI's got a learning resources room (Rm.210) main floor of the school if you would like or need a quiet place to work. Also, the school has a very spacious library for students to do research and look for some really good books!

Great school everyone is different and still welcoming. You can see the schoool spirit in all of their students. Not all teachers are great.

I personally have attended the plays , and visited the school in my highschool years when I went to St. Marys.When I walked in as a young lad I noticed a difference. Everyone worked together teachers were accepting of who you are and what you stood for.Very popular for the Arts program, I know a couple of students who attended Eastwood and are now Photographers and CEO of production companies.Personally, I felt Eastwood provided a safe haven for those who think out of the box. Not to mention the teachers seem really happy and most substitutes I know want to be teaching here. So it can't be all that bad if one inexperienced student visualised all the above. don't you think ???As for the comment below about being poor , I don't think that was appropriate and if you were to investigate most Canadians can't afford their lifestyle without bank loans so; I am not sure what you mean by poor brother. hehehe

Very bad school they only focus on art, ESL its very too, worst school ever i swear !

A great school with wonderful teachers and opportunities.

This school has really no academic programs, and its arts program is perfect to prepare you for a career in the finest restaurant in town. In all honesty, don't go here unless you want to be the laughingstock of all the Region's high schools. They simply don't offer what other schools offer.

I've had a great time here and especially in the Arts program! Like one big family and I am so grateful for everyone :)
