Sometimes I go here because Sobeys has a different and sometimes better selection than say ‘No frill’s. Also meat cuts are generally better. Staff are generally friendly. Parking is easy and plentiful. Store is clean. So I would say it’s a good grocery store overall. However I bought roses on Valentine’s Day, where the bulbs hadn’t opened yet. So I thought that meant fresh… Cost about $23. I even cut the stems to make sure they were getting water properly. Never opened. They were dying the day I bought them. The yellow tulips in the pic are from Nofrills and bought a week before. And they are still going strong. They cost $5. So… if you are desperate for flowers and you find yourself at Sobeys…. Buy Chocolate!

NO PARKING! Don't bother trying to go here on weekdays. Sobeys head office made the decision to rent out both of their parking lots to 2 different construction sites for the workers to park here so there's zero parking, unless you have handicap sticker then there's only 2 spots. Very frustrating. It will probably be like this for at least a year. Thanks Sobeys, now I will shop elsewhere, I hope the money your making on parking will make up for your loss of business.

They don't have any of the typical pain medication you would expect to find in a grocery store of that size (e.g. Tylenol). There is no self checkout and some of the cashiers move slower than molasses, which is exponentially frustrating when there are long lines and few tills open. They sometimes have good deals on items like ice cream and plant milk".Parking is good and plentiful. You can't miss it because it's the one with the hideous mural - I like the idea but the execution on that one is sub par."

Every time I go in here, theres more and more stuff blocking the aisles and making the store less and less accessible, and less traversable. Unnecessary things like cardboard advertising standees, or those little cardboard shelf things are blocking half the aisles, so especially if you go at a busy time it'll be a slow frustrating shopping experience. For example, the Oreos already exist in the cookie aisle. There doesn't need to be a standee with a giant plastic Oero on top in the meat+dairy section. For things that only have a spot on one of the ever-obtrusive stands, I feel like they could just make more products single-facing so they can fit the products from the stands on regular shelves that don't get in the way.Next time i go in to the store I'll get photos to add to my review, assuming google reviews have an edit function.I suspect merchandizing is being done at the corporate level rather than by somebody who actually works at the store.

Good for fresh food, serves wide varieties of Cakes, pastries and baked products, they also have huge selection of produce and deli products. Cakes are great but bit pricey and the taste was okay. They also have groceries. Best part about this place is it's open 24 hrs.

Cashiers don't greet or aknowledge customers They will often toss your receipt instead of handing it to you. No have a nice day. Nothing. Very rude employees. This has been this way for years but has gotten progressively worse. I wont be going back there. Cake slices are frozen in the morning so baked good are not fresh. I have bought expired food there in the past. Went there today to buy milk and some bags were being sold expire in 2 days and at regular price.

Good clean grocery store. I found all that I needed. Produce has a large and good variety of fruits and vegetables. Cherries are in season so I got some of those. Always a nice treat. For an urban store, and on the Danforth, it is a bit smaller, but has all you really need.Parking is easy to access, although watch for those bike lanes that the Danforth now has. Look both ways!Check out was great! Dolores was fantastic! It is always nice to have a positive experience while cashing out, and this was no exception. And airmiles for the win!
