I had an amazing experience here a few months back, bought a few comics however went in today and they cut the storefront in half if not even more, and no one actually mans the front anymore. Now you have to either knock or call a number to even shop there? Its not nearly as good as it was and I wouldn't recommend it for in store shopping period anymore due to the uncomfortable nature of having to summon someone to just browse their stock. Their online seems well maintained but in the end I like to be able to browse when its supposed to be a store and not a mini online warehouse.

Nice little shop tucked away upstairs in Dragon City. Lots of current comics and store exclusives. There's a few CGC graded comics as well. Friendly environment and a consistent online presence on social media. Worth a check out.

I love this shop. It is where I do the vast majority of my comic buying. They discount many, many pre-order comics, they bag and board at no extra cost and they always make sure I am well taken care of. I buy quite a bit here, so that might factor into how well I am treated...who knows.....What else? They are friendly and patient. You will pay more for your comics at EVERY other comic shop in Calgary. They do CGC submissions for customers (that has been discontinued). They ship bigger web orders (125 CAD+) for free. Love them. Oh..the shop is fully open now (four days a week). You can go in and browse both new and back issue inventory.

Updates edit: store isn't open till 2023 nowFew months ago I would have told you it was a great comic shop to check out. Now the store front has heavily decreased in size and you need to phone someone so that you can even shop. Makes it not worth going to the store now.

Called to get information on the new Alien comic book from Marvel. The person I spoke to was very nice and informative. Store and staff are all top class. The only problem I would have is coming back so often I’ll end up broke!But this is my new place to go when it comes to getting the new issues of the Alien series. Thank you for all your great service.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, very good at answering any questions I had. I usually don’t like to bring girls with me comic shopping because usually staff feel the need to over explain things to them but at this shop they were very friendly and respectful and just let us shop. Good selection too.

It was my first time browsing around inside Nerd Pharmaceuticals and I had the best, friendliest customer service ever!The person who helped me was very kind and helpful, very informative, and welcoming. Upon hearing that I was browsing for a gift for a Pokémon-lover friend of mine they gave me this rare Pokémon card (apparently had only been given out during the showings of the first-ever Pokémon movie) free of charge because “if they love Pokémon, your friend would love to have that card in their collection”. Even upon insisting that I pay them some amount of money for the card or buy something else from their store, they didn’t force me to buy anything and insisted it would be a nice gift for my friend!Thank you so much! I will definitely be returning.

One of the best comic book store, hands down. Their selection of covers is next level. Fair shipping prices and great customer service.

What an excellent experience. Purchased two comics online. The comics were decently priced but had to pay for shipping twice. I emailed the company and they were acceptable to waive one fee and ship the comics out together. Super impressed and easy to do.Well done.#localguides
