Grumpa's Place Fries and More
Only 2-minutes down the road from the entrance to Pinery Provincial Park, this outdoor restaurant is a must stop for campers. They have big portions of tasty fried food for when you're tired of cooking over the campfire! We'll definitely go back here again for the fries.

My girlfriend and I were in the area and I said this is one place where I wanted to go for lunch. Great pllace couldn't have asked for a better location The food is fantastic. I would definitely highly recommend going to the restaurant. And definitely I'd like to return and great job on a busy day in the sun keep up the good work guys

I organized a bus trip and 15 of us went Saturday. The service was great and they were very well staffed. The food came out quickly and was delicious. Everyone on the trip said they would be going back.

We got the pulled pork poutine (regular), cheeseburger and mozzarella sticks (regular). The food was SO. GOOD. The cook was wonderful, and the general atmosphere was relaxed. You definitely get your bang for your buck when it comes to portion sizes. Highly recommend!

well, it is a father-son run business which is always great to see, and the food is great. I suggest the brisket, as the owner suggested, and yes, he was correct. Great choice for lunch.There’s also many different types fries and even some healthy fare, they do have smoothies, and if you’re bringing a date, there is the perfect romantic spot where you can gaze at a 1 to 100 scale model of Niagara Falls outback. If you can find it. you’re welcome. thank you Grumpa’s place for the great food. Keep up the good work.

We loved this place! Generous servings, accommodating, and good prices!! The cheeseburger combos and poutine were delicious! We watched them prep the fries with whole potatoes. Way better than expected.

This place is so great! Friendly and helpful owner, quick service, very reasonable prices, HUGE portions, and great tasting food!We had the loaded nachos and a cubano sandwich combo and both were very tasty.They have a smoker on site and they make their own pulled pork, brisket, etc.Definitely add this place as a stop on your itinerary!

Stopped by on way home from the Pinery. Kids love the chicken fingers and can barely finish one combo if they split it. Generous portions for prices. Super busy when we stopped, but it was right at lunch and the folks working were on it and moving. Has become a staple when we visit the area.
