Neighborhood grocery store. Friendly cashiers. 3 ti.mes i bought products that were not sold at advertised price. Charged full price even though it was supposed to be on sale. Lovlaws would. Ever do that. Past experience was given product for free if there was a price discrepancy at Loblaws

My favorite place to shop for basic fresh vegies and groceries. They always have exceptional fresh fruit and vegetables (for a small location) and are well stock on all basic grocery items. There is a fresh bakery and a small selection of prepared foods. Obviously, with a smaller footprint they are not going to have seventeen different brands of dill pickles, but they will have a choice. If you seek largess, then I suggest you try one of the huge chain grocery stores. Pricing here is fair. What I particularly like is that they always have their cashiers open so there is never any waiting in endless line-ups while people check through three cart loads. Parking lot is small but adequate and, for seniors, the parking is very close to the door. there are one of two handicap stalls (but there should be more). Staff is very helpful (especially the produce guys) and the check-out people are friendly, helpful and efficient. As a regular customer, I heartily recommend.

I love the set up of this store and the fact that it’s rarely crazy busy. My big complaint, however, is the fact that they don’t help pack your bags if you bring your own bags. I would think they would be encouraging people to bring their own- not making them feel second class when they do. Because I had a lot of groceries to pack, it meant the people behind me in line had to wait. Doesn’t make sense to me.

This is my main grocery store in the beaches. It's small but highly functional and has good prices. The staff are always friendly too which is rare in my recent grocery store experiences.

I feel compelled to post what I witnessed this evening so the owner is aware and can address the matter to ensure their customers feel safe shopping there. A man (with a woman companion) screamed at a young cashier until the cashier finally started crying. As a regular customer there, I can say that this particular cashier is always so friendly, professional, and efficient so there was no reason for this horrific behavior. Eventually what appeared to be a manager came over and the man then started yelling at him as well. When I came on here to write this review I noticed a review from today and I'm wondering if this is one of the participants in the horrific display I saw. She claims she can't lift with her left arm and needed the cashier to bag her groceries because of this. But I'd like to know how she can get the bag of groceries off the counter and carry them to her car or home if she's not even able to put the items in the bag herself? If this is the woman that was part of the display I witnessed tonight and this is what they were tormenting the cashier about then that is absurd. I would strongly recommend you consider getting a security guard for the store so customers can feel safe shopping there, not to mention the staff. Most other grocery stores have a security guard so I'm surprised this one doesn't given some of the riff raff in the neighbourhood. I'm still giving a five-star because my issue is not with the store itself and I've always found the staff to be lovely. But please consider hiring security.

Small grocery store, small selection of brand names, PC line and no frills yellow labels. Staff are friendly. Seems to be very cramped and slightly unorganized.

Normally I would give this place five stars, but have revised my opinion after my visit today. I brought my own bag to the checkout, gave it to the young female cashier. However she didn’t put any of my groceries in the bag but left them on the counter. When I asked her if she could help me she said no it was the store policy not to bag groceries, (apparently unless you use their plastic bags) I asked her if was sure this was still the policy she repied “yes, my manager told her me so yesterday, and if other cashiers are helping to bag, they are going against company policy. “ Really? I should also mention that I’m a senior, and shouldn’t lift heavy objects with my left arm. Hmmmm?
