Underground Tuning

Local for 4 years now and I always get my boards repaired and tuned by the team at Underground.Quick good quality service and great advice.

Don’t buy anything from this store. Shady Business. Very arrogant staff and Owner. This place has the worst customer service I have ever seen. Bought a snowboard from this shop as a gift for my friend. After about 15 days on the board the base separated. I did some research and found several other cases online with the same issue which were covered under warranty. Within seconds of bringing it in they tried blaming us for abusing the board even though it was treated better than anything I’ve ever owned. The refused to do a warranty and said if they sent it to the manufacturer there was 90% chance we would never see the board again. So we brought it to a snowboard and ski repair shop from someone who’s been working over 30 years and he said it’s definitely a problem with the board not the user. We tried to send it to the manufacturer ourselves but found out only authorized dealers can and they are not one. It appears they are unable to do warranties and will just blame you for breaking your board to get out of it. They wouldn’t even give us a discount on a new board saying why should we pay for your mistake. Just terrible.

I left my board after 3 years using it and never had a service before. Board had a lot of scratches but after one night i picked it back as new and had a lot of fun at the slopes. Good environment and service,. Thank you.

My husband and I got our boards tuned and waxed. He had a huge gash in his and mine just needed a wax. We are so pleased with the kind and informative overnight service, for how helpful and friendly all the staff are and how great our boards are feeling today. We will definitely be coming back!

Came here for a hot wax near the end of season and was advised a essential service would be better. Picked up the board next day and I could tell the job done was a quick one. Board wax was pretty uneven, light and overall not great. Wax was gone after half a day. Was disappointed given I went on recommendation.

They provide rental service to try out snowboards before making a purchase. After paying for the rental snowboards, I was informed that they did not have any in stock. Since I already had a snowboard, I wouldn’t have spent an additional $60. I think customers should be able to make informed decisions. I was hoping to upgrade my board before hitting the slope the next day. If they do not have board available for sale they should say so.

These guys are great. Knowledgeable, professional craftsmen. Today, not only did we get our skis waxed and tuned and serviced, but also learned a little more about this great hobby we are so excited about. How skis developed over the past couple of decades and the influence of snowboarding on the skiing industry. Been on a holiday in Whistler for 2 months (our season" at the back end of our working lives) and we have used them 3 times. Great service every time. They are busy

The best tuning shop in the resort! It is locally owned and the guys are very knowledgeable. Here you get excellent workmanship and great customer service.

These guys really know what they’re stuff. The edge and wax on my board were perfect. I had a bunch of binding boot questions, and they were extremely helpful!

I don’t trust anyone else with my skis. This crew does an amazing job, exceptional service, and second to none knowledge and quality.
