Wow. Just wow! Food is excellent, customer service is superb and the portions are huge! Even though it was so busy, there was ALWAYS someone checking on us! We had the schnitzel- literally can feed a village with how huge it is, Belgian waffle- soooo soft & fluff, and the eggs benny- omg that hollandaise sauce is something else! Super impressed with Char's curry ketchup is incredible! First time here and will definitely make this a brunch staple in the future!

Absolutely beyond impressed with this beauty of a dining establishment! An easy and unanimous five star experience from the complete start to the end!My business associates and I were all super excited from the minute we stumbled across this gem. The family run business is among some of the best I have ever been to in my entire life. The food quality is the exact same level as well. You can tell that at this place, they care about almost everything!From German classics to big size portions of breakfasts plates with a great twist. This place has it all. My new favourite spot to eat in South Edmonton. Special thanks to the manager and staff here for making our time so pleasurable see you all soon, thanks again from The Bud King Boys.

We went in there for a brunch.It was a little crowded but the waiting time is affordable.The lady who helped us with our seating was very polite and helpful. She took care of all our requirements and made sure that the correct food is served.As for the food, it was amazing. The sauces available specially the curry sauce is highly recommended. Properly spiced and cooked pork.A satisfied & happy customer is how we felt while leaving !!

An amazing German restaurant.I had the sausage sampler which was phenomenal.Soup came out piping hot and was very hearty and perfectly flavouredThe fried noodles with the gravy are something you must try as the tender bite of delight is an experience on its own.The warm sauerkraut was also quite tasty and well balanced.The staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and specials and took the time to explain some of the nuance choices .A great experience for anyone looking for some top tier dining at a very reasonable price point.

Great place with quality food. It can be a bit jammed on weekends but it is worth going. Benedict eggs with their hollaindese cream are the best in town

Food was unique, tasty, and came out quick despite being bonkers busy. Don't expect to sit down right away every time, but the wait is worth it! And the manager there is very sweet, checked on us multiple times.

Barb & Ernies has been a staple of where I want to go when I want some schnitzel, Bratwurst and Eggs Bennie. They have never disappointed and the meal will leave you stuffed. Easily one of the best brunches ive had.The place also feels homie and the staff always welcoming.

I still cannot get over how good the curry ketchup was with the pork schnitzel. Service was warm and friendly, and overall the ambience was quite cozy. The portions are worth the price. Definitely going to come back.
