I wish I could give more than 5 stars because these guys really deserve it!! Mid Island was recommended to me by numerous people from a Facebook RV/Motorhome site. We travelled from Victoria to Nanaimo to have them install the base plate (in our FIAT) to prepare it for towing. Kolton (or Colton?) was so great walking me through the process and ordering the parts for the job. AND...the team did an amazing job. They took the time to walk us through how to use the tow bar and breaking system and made sure that we were comfortable using it. I recommend them 100%. Thanks guys!!!

These are our Go To Guys! The Best - we won't use anybody else. They did some custom fabrications - a hitch mount flag pole and a custom wind deflector too with a super metal art they make in their shop.

I had a small and slightly usual issue... I had created a home built RV on an older tent trailer base. I wanted to make sure my treasure was safe so took it in for a checkup. The team was great. They confirmed the axle and springs were sound and suitable for the weight of the re-build and did the much-needed replacement of the bearings on both wheels. Service was fast and price was reasonable. Recommended - even if you do not have a conventional RV. Photo is of my gypsy styled mini-RV, which is still in progress but will likely be finished before summer.

Awesome experience! My husband and I stopped by their shop just to enquire about getting a hitch and ball mount, and by sheer luck they had the exact ones we needed! We were also very lucky that they happened to have time to put it on right then (don’t expect this, of course)! They did an excellent job with great customer service and now we’re ready to tow a U-Haul to Alberta.

When I bent my boat trailer axel in the busiest part of the season these guys got me back out on the water. Kolton is the guy to ask for, he was fantastic! They made me a new custom axel faster than the guys at Highliner Trailer would even get back to me. I'm super happy with the quality of the workmanship and the price was great. Here's to shop'n on the island.
