Jack's Drive-In
Thought we would try something new and ordered an ice cream cake for my son’s birthday from Jack’s. The cake was delicious, just like their ice cream, and it was a good price. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They also have ice cream cupcakes you can order which we will have to try next time!

Fries soggy and tasteless, onion rings bland, burger cold and bland. Gravy almost tasted like it was in the late 1980’s but just didn’t have it.

Had a really good meal, with a great butter rum milkshake. There was a new person training - she did great and the team seemed eager to keep things moving despite being extremely busy. Good job team!

I had the mushroom burger and it was delicious! A little messy but very good! The fries that came with it was hot and tasty and actually quite large enough to share. I'll be back to try their other dishes for sure! Service was quick and the staff very friendly. I'll be back

Excellent burgers and fast food items. Cooked and flavoured like how it was in the olden days. Reminds me of a way better version of a Burger Baron. The Jacks Special hits every note in which a burger should be.Pizza burger is a hidden gem. I'll drive out to SG just for this again.

Corn fritters were great. Burgers were also very good. The flavor burst (crazy cones) were excellent. Lots of selections for ice cream. 50s atmosphere inside. A little tricky to get in and out of parking lot.

I stopped by Jack's for the first time and tried the fish burger and a mozerella burger. The mozza burger was soaked through with sauce and grease, not a fan. The fish burger however tasted great. The fish was perfectly cooked. Batter was crispy and golden brown and the fish was not dry at all. Unfortunately it was about 1/3 the size of the bun and that includes the thick layer of batter. It tasted great but I wouldn't return due to their skimpy portions.

Ordered a Cheeseburger Fries and a Diet Pepsi $11.34 tax in.Cheeseburger has its own special sauce. A nice sliced pickle and a tomato which isn’t that thick and i thought was the perfect size.Fries are crispy and golden perfect with a bit of salt on them and dipping in packaged ketchup which some of my ketchup packets had signs of ketchup already on them which is a downer for me.Diet Pepsi was not correct i think it was reg Pepsi. But they corrected it and where happy to do so.

Jack's Drive-In
In 1961, when Larry Campbell and Jack Clarke opened Jack’s Drive-In, they had no idea what they were creating would become a local icon. They just wanted to have their own little ice cream and burger stand to serve the best food they could make. The land the drive-in sits on was purchased for $700The unique roofline was designed to attract attention from the highway traffic but, as later owners would discover, a V-shaped roof does not do much for water drainage. In June 1961 the grand opening was held with Spruce Grove Mayor John Allen Gosset in attendance. There was no indoor seating during that first year, but the roof extended off the front of the building to provide a canopy coverIn the fall of 1961, enclosing the canopy area to create a place for customers to sit inside and eat.Jack’s is one of the few businesses in Alberta that has operated continually for more than five decades from the same building at the same location.
