Very helpful staff. This is a smaller home hardware but still tons of stuff and a full paint department. Very nice not to have to drive to pinebush from the west side saves me hours of driving. Thanks for having a hardware store near home.

I have been going to this store for years and have had several bad experiences, they treat me like im going to steal something every time I go in there. This last experience an employee yelled at me because I was looking out their back door at their peatmoss. Don't go out there your not aloud to go out there she loudly said. Another time the owner unlocked the plumbing fixtures cabinet for me to check to see the one I need, she then got called to the phone. She locked it up before she went to the phone like I was going to steal something before she got back. Ive been going to this store for 10 plus years plus and the last incident did it for me. I will drive to the other side of town and will never step inside this store again. You will never get one cent from me again .

This is my neighborhood go to Hardware (plus) store. Every one of the staff there have above average excellent customer care skills. They always go out of their way to help me find what I am looking for. A number of times they have gone the extra mile to order unique and/or special product for me. On one rare occasion when they didn't have what I was looking for, and could not order it in, they helped me find somewhere else to get what I needed. WOW ! With customer service like this why would I go anywhere else first !?!? The management and staff at this store are a great example of how to do customer service right.

Small but mighty! What is not in the store they make ever effort to get it on for you. We wanted a vacuum that was in the flyer, while not in stock, they called 2 days later to say it was there. More recently, my husband wanted a very specific colour of spray paint. It took a while for them to track it down , but they found it!! The staff are helpful and courteous .

They refused to take back their products. So now I have to complain to head office to get my money back since this store is incompetent and can't take back their own products. Making excuse the whole time. What's the point of having the receipt to the product if you won't take it back. Cashier refused to give me manager information. What does she have to hide?

Great little gem of a store. The staff are wonderful and generous and helpful. They donated a wagon to my 9 year old nephew who has cancer and was too week to walk to trick or treat at Halloween. They are the undeniably that neighborhood store where people remember your name and are a integral part of fabric of the community. The staff are very informative and eager to help you get the right items to complete your project well. There are some excellent gifts and home decor here as well.Make the stop and see what you have been missing ! :)

I would love to give this place a zero stars if I could. Today, my poor husband ran out to get grab an item from there. My husband went into the store and they have a little bell that dings when you go inside, usually someone will great you. This time no one did- which is fine because maybe they were busy, there was a voice that came from somewhere else that said “there’s someone who came into the store, did anyone great them?” There was a woman who approached him and looked him up and down (my husband is not white, he is Spanish) and she looked at him as if he’s been trying to take something from the store. My husband is a contractor of 17 years and has never stepped foot in this store without myself and I am European descent. The whole time, even as my husband paid for his item this cashier woman looked at him in disgust. My heart broke when my husband told me this as it’s sad to see that people of “white colour” still look at someone with colour and judge him because of it, she looked at him as if he was trying to take something. Meanwhile we are both business owners here in the neighbourhood. This is the last time we EVER step foot in here as well.

I frequently visit this store on account of how helpful their staff is, especially Doug who goes out of his way to ask about the home projects you have going on to make sure you have the right materials for the job. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and go the extra mile to ensure you are well equipped, even offering tips from personal experience. If they don't have something in stock be sure to mention it to them and they will get it in on their next shipment. Great customer service!

Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. It's very small in comparison to other home hardware stores, but as long as you're not looking for lumber you can find pretty much anything you need here. There's never a long wait and as soon as you walk in the door there's typically someone asking if the can help you find anything. Great customer service!
