Airdrie Truck & Auto Sales

I really thought I'd found a decent honest dealership that would help me buy a decent truck. I invested a lot of my time in this dealership trying to find a truck that met my needs. With the market to the US bolstered due to the dollar difference it's not easy finding deals that make sense as the best ones are sent to the US.I'd heard a lot of stories about the dangers of buying one ton diesel trucks so, after finally finding a truck that met my needs, I called Steve to ask if I could independently have the vehicle checked out.I told Steve I was ready to sign an offer subject to independent inspection. Steve immediately got really angry and began accusing me of trying to pay less for the truck. I told him that was his assumption but had nothing to do with my call. I just wanted to have the truck independently checked out because if I did not I'd be accountable for any problems that I'd not taken reasonable steps to identify.But Steve just wanted to be angry and argue. He began to accuse me of wanting to pay less than his asking price. He was really furious when he began ranting and raging about the price being fixed and not subject to discount. I kept telling him that I just wanted an independent inspection. Steve only wanted to act out his fear and kept accusing me of distrusting them and not taking their word that it's a good truck".Just a month before I put an offer on a truck but when it was sent to an independent diesel shop a tiny leak was found in the head gasket. A leak that would cost over 7k to repair.Had I gotten saddled with that truck without independently verifying the integrity of the vehicle I'd have had a head gasket job to do within two years according to the mechanic.Anyway all Steve wanted to do was argue with me and try to prove to me that I didn't trust him and much whining and anger directed at me. This proved to me that I should avoid this dealer. It so happened that a friend of mine who had been a car salesman for many years overheard my dialog with Steve and he advised me that something had to be wrong when a salesman would not write up a conditional offer subject to me independently checking out the vehicle.My friend explained that getting an independent inspection is common practice and that any dealer who is angry about a customer wanting to independently verify the status of a vehicle should be avoided.Thank you Steve for revealing

Despite some reviews, I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt. After emailing twice and getting no response at all (a week or two has passed since the second email). I decided to drive to Airdrie to see them in person. I was happy that they were open on a Saturday. Unfortunately, since arriving, I've sat here for 45 minutes waiting for a be back in 15 min" sticker to be removed from the locked front door. I've tried calling 3 times

Terrible:. Bought a 2015 Chevy 3500 duramax only 98,000kms. They claimed it was fully inspected by a certified mechanic. Told me it was in great shape, when got their they had hammered the front bumper out to repair damage from an accident, and they had rattle canned the deck to cover all the rust. Once the deal was made they told me the roof leaked and sent me to a window repair place to deal with it. Drove it off the lot and it wouldn't start the next day, batteries were dead and there still is an electrical issue with it. Then they tried to put some old batteries in it as a fix. Driveshaft was damaged and had to be replaced, costed me $1200.00 - this should have been picked up by their mechanical inspection. Fuel pump went shortly after, costed $12,000.00. Beware, these guys are connected to Jeet auto sales.

Complete garbage inventory.I was told everything would be in working condition" by AJ.Made a deposit on an "inspected" truck and sent it to an independent inspection.8500$ in repair.They now say the price is firm and won't do any of the required services.These people will lie about anything to make a sale

We drove 3 hours to see a van posted at this location, had conversations on the phone prior to making the drive to make sure it was worth coming to see. Once we arrived it was in the shop surrounded by junk, they would not take it out, let alone drive it (after driving 3 hours there you would assume you could drive it). They said they would have to move to much stuff and there is a $500-$700 air bag issue that they wouldn't fix, it was in horrible condition, the tires they said were great, were totally shot (nothing left) It was extremely messy and crowded and they lied on the phone about everything - this is a slimy place I wouldn't go again or trust anything they say about any of there vehicles, save yourself the time. I have thought about reporting this place it was so bad.

Great people to deal with. They have a huge selection from small cars to service body 3 tonne trucks. All my questions were answered and they were great in getting us exactly the vehicle that we wanted. Service is very professional and atmosphere is friendly. Highly recommended!!

We had to travel from Victoria to pick up the truck and our salesman Armaanbir picked us up at the airport which was very nice of him. They were very professional and the truck was as good, or maybe even better than we had hoped for. Thanks for everything Armaanbir and keep up the good work. Its been a great experience. Great people ,although bad at picking up phone calls sometimes. I am trying to sell truck on auto trader for a while and with almost no time to respond to anybody back and with christmas around the corner i wanted to sell the truck to a dealership quick although it was going to be for a loss.Entering this delership not only gave me the confidence that i am at the right place ,it also saved me time with getting right to helping me with my needs.Just because of the people i dealt with over there i didnt even boather going to these so called big dealerships"..even thou i know i might get little more money with lot more of my time and a service no where close to theres."
