Bridges Catering

Nicely presented. Arrived on time. Seemed expensive for cold platters.

Bridges catered our wedding a few years ago and the food was incredible. Everything was exactly as we had ordered, and delicious. A few days before our event, the individual assisting us informed my wife and I that she would not be able to attend and facilitate our wedding - no problem from our end. It was clear that no communication was passed on to the caterers that did serve our wedding. It impacted our experience, and no follow-up was ever done from their side. We were upset, but the food was too good to be angry.Fast forward a few years, Bridges is now catering my Executive MBA program. What a wonderful opportunity to show your skills; maybe even an opportunity for a loss leader - 25 executives in a room four days a month for 20 months. The food varies from somewhat tasty to unpalatable. I'm sure they have new challenges around covid protocols, which would explain some discrepancies. They do some items very well - breakfast wraps, fruit cups, and desserts are all great. Unfortunately, that's about it. The quantities at breakfast often leave the group hungry. Some days we are served one hard-boiled egg and a small fruit cup.There is still plenty of time to recover, and to their credit, the food has been much better for the last two sessions. Now they seem to be back in their groove of underdelivering. The attached photo is an example of our breakfast.

Got a big Thanksgiving meal. Prices were all online and affordable. Was easy to order. The value was top grade, everyone enjoyed the food a lot. It would have been more expensive, hard work and time consuming to make this kind of meal ourselves. They came and set the meal up on a table with heated containers. It was so convenient, and with everything taken care of we had all that time to visit with family. We will be using this service again.

We ordered from Bridge's for our office Christmas lunch and the food and service were amazing. Noah did a great job setting up! Will definitely recommend!

We celebrated 2 birthdays, with about 12 family members. Bridges Catering came through on all aspects ! Delicious hot and cold items. Wonderful presentation, with easy to follow instruction for reheating the hot items. My favorite was the Stromboli, OMG ! There’s only one choice for our family in the future, “Bridges”. I visited their website, and they have a menu for whatever function your having. Thanks again Bridges !

Had Bridges cater an event at our facilities and the food was delicious. The dessert platter was a hit and the hors d oeuvres disappeared swiftly. Will 100% be booking them again for another event.

Team mixed up that we had a toonie bar set up in our contract. It was extremely difficult and we had to bring our bride out of her hair and makeup to correct the issue in front of guests. Embarrassing. We also rented 3 different sizes of plates - unpacked them ourselves and set them up- staff packed 2/3 of the plates away before we had a chance to use them (so they didn’t have to wash them?). They refused to give us the plates back for the midnight lunch so our guests had to eat off paper plates. Won’t be using this company again.

If I were able to give this company 10 stars, I would! I used Bridges catering for a private Christmas function, and it wouldn't have been half as successful without Erick and the amazing team that is Bridges Catering. Every step of the way the company was considerate and and thoughtful, thinking about elements I wouldn't even consider. Small details that really tie an event together. The food was phenomenal, everyone enjoyed all of the sides and mains. We did a late night Poutine Bar for our guests, and it was a hit! I look forward to having the opportunity to use them as a catering company again. Again, a huge thank you to Erick and Bridges!!

Amazing food, options and service at a very reasonable price. Ordered lunch (sandwiches/rice bowls, etc) for 60 for a work in-service. Food was devoured, and many were looking through book for future events. Highly recommend!
