Alarm Guard Security Service

I decided to go with that I believed was the best system on the market ADT, but I was so wrong. The system has not worked properly from day one. The installation company Alarm Guard security services inc damaged my new customer built home and had to be repaired the system 3 times. Still the system is not right. I spend $900 upfront for the system and have been paying $66 monthly for something that does not work. I have been completely ignored by Alarm Guard security service inc who will not even return my call or the request from Telus who purchased ADT. This company should not be installing systems for any company! Be very aware of them and the way they do buisness.

They slam you into a two year contract without telling you first than you get some rude American monitoring calls sighing and acting disrespectful when you attempt to get customer service. They ALSO BUY five star fraudulent ratings to make themselves look good. A majority of their raters only have one or three reviews, total warning sign to stay away they can't be trusted.

I worked for Alarm Guard and was not paid what I earned. I have spread sheets from the company showing how much I am owed.If this is how they treat their employees you can only imagine how they treat their customers.

We have chosen ADP as we read a lot of positive reviews about the company. The representative Geoff was very helpful and was able to provide us with the best opinions. The technician who installed the alarm system was also extremely helpful and was able to complete everything very quickly. It’s been almost a month and we are very happy.

I was contacted by a sales rep from Alarmguard and I decided to go with them. The whole process was super smooth and I got everything installed literally by the next day. The staff is warm and helpful. Highly recommended!

My experience was adequate at best. The application/signing process took significantly longer than expected. The phone call for the assistance for the self install was also delayed by when it finally happened, it was seamless.Overall, great product and the service was as expected after the product was installed. Hoping the subscription process can improve.

I was approached by a door-to-door sales woman who was pleasent, and not overly pushy which was nice. I told her I needed to speak with my husband before committing to anything as we make decisions about our home and finances together. I had requested she call me later on in the day to discuss. I recieved the call, and let her know we weren't going to be committing to anything on the spot but I appreciated her time and asked if we decided to go with Telus security, could I connect with her later on and do it through her. I was met with a pushy tone let me speak to your husband and explain it to him" I am fully capable of explaning home security

Beware of Alarm Guard - mean to seniors!My parents are both seniors and are moving since maintaining a home is now too hard for them (my dad has dementia). My parents have not used their ADT/Alarm Guard system for months because of my dad's dementia. Unfortunately they renewed a contract with Alarm Guard a few months ago for 3 years, even though at the time they were already planning to move. Alarm Guard has told them that they must pay the full value of the contract even if they are cancelling it when they move in a few months. I called on behalf of my parents and tried to appeal to Alarm Guard to take sympathy on a couple of seniors who made a bad decision, but they would not budge. Alarm Guard is essentially taking money from my parents for 2.5 years of service that they will not be using. Yes, my parents signed the contract and technically agreed to the terms, but again, they are seniors who didn’t fully understand what they were committing themselves to. A few month’s worth of cancellation penalty would have been understandable, but 2.5 years worth? My advice - do not let your senior parents sign a contract with this company unless you make sure they understand the terms - Alarm Guard will hold you to it regardless of your circumstances.

Thank GOD I didn't sign up with them. They were so pushy when I submitted an online quote. Called me MULTIPLE times per day, every day and emailed me after I told them to STOP contacting me. Some Jas Kaur guy keeps harassing me. STOP CONTACTING ME!
