Glen Oro Eco-Retreat

I had the opportunity to escape reality with a few friends and spend the weekend in one of the Galaxy Gazer Domes! It was magical! We were able to unplug, unwind and connect in the quiet of the forest. The dome came with every accommodation we would need and then some. It was spotless and so comfortable from the moment we walked in. The property is stunning so we had to explore it. We were able to take advantage of the snowshoes available to us and wander around the farm. We hiked to the lookout and when we got back we got cozy by the fire pit. We also were able to take a nighttime stroll to the Sauna and that did not disappoint. The entire staff was very helpful and so sweet. It was an unforgettable experience for all of us! Thank you Glen Oro for being incredible!

A very well managed and neat place close to toronto, the best getaway from the noise and city rush.You will be with nature and soothing calm apart from car noises and people.Staff are SUPER friendly and professional, service is amazing and you will ending up wanting to stay for longer.We had a great stay and already palning our return

Quiet, low key glamping eco experience. Fully seasonal domes with heat, A/C and basic cooking tools. The loft bed and see through dome roof is definitely a unique experience. Next to hiking and mountain biking trails, but be prepared for lots of elevation changes. Highly recommended.

This was the perfect weekend getaway to celebrate my fiancés birthday. The staff were wonderful, the tent was incredible and the grounds were beautiful. We would recommend 100%

My husband and I booked one night here to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary. What an incredible experience, nothing short of MAGICAL! The staff are so knowledgeable attentive and friendly. We had supper delivered from Eclectic Cafe (also highly recommend!). We soaked up every moment of being able to slow down and reconnect. We plan to return in September but for 2 nights! P.S book the sauna as soon as you arrive!

We came in mid October and the place was stunning! We got one of the stargazing tents and it surely did not disappoint. It was situated in a amazing location in the middle of the forest. It was quite with other tents located a good distance away. The fall leaves were gorgeous and great to hike around. Everything you needed were available (firewood, bbq, fridge, board games etc). An amazing way to just unwind into nature for the evening!!

If you are looking to get away from hussle and bussel or everyday life - this is a perfect get away. Even if it's for one night.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Glen Oro this past Sunday-Tuesday. We stayed in the stargazer dome and loved the whole experience. From the smart and eco-friendly design, the attention to detail, and the extremely easy turn-key set up, we could not have had a better experience. The sauna and ice plunge were the perfect touch to recover after riding the beautiful horses through the property.

My Wife and I just spend our wedding night here. What an interesting place to stay. We rented a large dome for the night, the night sky was beautiful through the transparent ceiling. You could hear the wind in the trees while still being cozy inside our heated unit. Everything was clean and functional and very well furnished, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We are definitely coming back here again.
