Zion Heights Middle School

From the ages of 19 to 21, this was my favorite place north of the border where I could get some good alcohol. The chicken wings and poutine were top-notch, and the nightly rock and roll acts never failed to impress. I went back there with my pals for old time's sake, and you will not believe what happened. The place was full of annoying kids, and instead of buying me a beer, the other adults just kind of glared at me or something. It turned out that it wasn't actually their fault for not buying me a beer, because apparently they don't serve any alcohol there anymore. Canada, get your $&1] together! The prohibition didn't work a hundred years ago, and it won't work now.

I think that the school is a very odd place. I feel that many of its decisions aren't really justifiable in the sense that they don't exactly improve the learning experience. I like the teachers and staff, but I cant say that I really think that there is an excellent learning experience. I believe that a lot of the money that they are putting into aesthetics should be used instead to fix the technology as well as provide better technology, as well as many other things that could be used to improve the learning experience.

i used to come here for the occasional night out with the boys... this bar somehow figured out how to burn the beer! i got in a fight with a guy twice my size and later that day almost took a dump on a nest of cockroaches chilling in the toilet seat. bad service, the waiters were rude, poor quality food and paint was peeling from the walls. i would never recommend this for them boys out there who just want to go out and have a nice beer.

I studied at this school back in the 80´s. I had a great time and also learned my english. This school gave me tho oprtunity to learn a second language and had the oportunity to learn so much from other cultures.Thanks a lot for what you game me.Best regards to my old school mates.

Been here a couple times, the food is very average and recently they have stopped serving as much beer. They living conditions are horrible and the spare beds in the back are infested wit hundreds of cockroaches. Not sure when this will improve, but when it does i shall return. PS The Korean War never happened.

Very bad and unpleasant bed and breakfast hotel. Beds were sort of lumpy and room was filthy. I couldn't tell what the stains on the bedsheets and the walls were. Not to mention, I swear I saw a cockroach in the bathroom. On the bright side, the breakfast food was not bad. Eggs and bacon were on point but the bread had gone stale. Definitely not coming here again, I just wanted to enjoy a night at the hotel.

While a lot of the teachers are wonderful people and very supportive, admin has issues spending money properly, dealing with bullying, and mental health. Once in grade 6 our guidance counsellor showed a video of why the teachers hated our grade. Oh also, the cafeteria has a 2000% markup on forks and the cafeteria itself is filthy.

The school itself is a nice place. Most of the teachers are good at their job, they're nice and they're also hard working; They organise a lot of assemblies & fun events. Most of the office staff can't be bothered with conflicts between students and as a result they often punish both people even if one was the victim. The cafeteria in the school takes advantage of the fact that students don't have other options, with overpriced items. The cashiers are also bad at counting and will likely mess up your change. Once you get to grade 8 though, you're allowed to sign out of school for lunch, and the school's location is great because there's a plaza across the streef with a Tim Hortons, Subway, Pizza Pizza, etc. Overall, I think the teachers and the facility are nice, but I disliked the cafeteria and how the office staff handled conflicts between students.

The school is, mediocre at best. There are some great staff members and not much else. they spend most of their budget doing unnecessary things like painting the walls purple.Yes, that can be important but there are things in more dire need of fixing. for example, rusty lockers, and more staff, some teachers teach classes that they don't have any experience in.

This school is really awful. It is my 2nd year in this school and I'm having the worst time of my life. There is people stealing money in the school, the teachers doesn't care about the kids swearing. However the most bad part about the school is that there are gangsters everywhere! Polices came to Zion heights middle school this year! I know this for a fact because I go to this school. I'm so glad that I'm leaving this school for grade 8. I hope this advice helped.
