Dropped off my wedding dress for cleaning on May 11th and was told they need three weeks for a wedding dress. That was fine because I needed it for June 4th (three weeks and three days later). I confirmed with the clerk that I could pick it up on Saturday June 4th and was told that I could.When I went to pick it up on June 4th at 9:15am it was not at the store. It was still at the plant. The clerk who was working that morning tried calling the owner several times while I waited and could not reach him.I left the store and the clerk called me shortly after to say she still could not reach him.My husband went it around 10:00am as well to speak to the clerk and still no response from the owner, the only person with keys to the plant the dress was located.I was able to purchase a new dress the day of our wedding reception so the day was not totally ruined.The owner did call me at 2:35pm to say he could go get the dress. But I was already on my way to the venue and it was too late.The following day my husband called the owner to talk about the situation. The owner was very rude, blamed the situation on me not going in the previous day so they would have known the dress was missing. Also said I should have brought the dress in months earlier. Yes I could have, I also could have not left it in their possession if they thought three and a half weeks was not enough time.Upon further communication the owner has been very rude and verbally aggressive with my husband. Customer service has been terrible and it has left me feeling upset and a little scared.In terms of the condition of the dress, it looks good. All the dirt was removed from our hiking elopement.Would not recommend due to extremely poor customer service.

I have been a long-time customer of this Sketchley Cleaners. Today, in wanting to drop off a sleeping bag and comforter, I was informed that I had to pay in full, in advance. Although I am not in agreement with this policy, given my past experiences with this store , and COVID, I thought that I could accept this. However, I was then informed that the addition to this new policy included NOT being able to use any coupons. Recap- pay upfront but because you are paying upfront, you can't use coupons. Not acceptable business practice.

I recently had two winter coats dry cleaned with Sketchley. Prices were what I would expect and I was happy with the results. The customer service was top notch; I was able to arrange pickup and delivery of my items for no extra fee. Dan was considerate of my schedule when arranging and carrying out both pick up and delivery. My coats were returned to me exactly one week later. With my busy schedule, having less errands to run means a lot. I will definitely use Sketchley again for dry cleaning.

First time trying sketchley.. I’m quite happy their service. My coat looks nice, lint free & clean. The shop looks surprisingly spotless! staff are professional and sewing a loose coat button costs a toonie so wasn’t bad at all.
