North End Weatherstripping/Newco Corporation

We had a patio door for over 30 years abd never had a leak. This company changed it out for a new one and it leaks every time it rains. They refuse to fix it stating we have to call a siding company to remove the siding strip then get the door reinstalled. They never said there is a siding issue when they installed it. Not happy with their service at all.

As other people have written bellow the receptionist is surprisingly unhelpful. Although she sounded pleasant enough I would go as far as saying she was deliberately unhelpful. Save yourself the frustration and search out another place for your needs.Response to owner.Sounds like your receptionist had a difficult day, but the person you describe is not me. I was very polite and our conversation lasted a few minutes. I did not go to your shop in person.

The service was great, everyone was very knowledgeable and helpful.I made the mistake of leaving my dog home alone and he ripped my window screen apart. Luckily I had another window just like it and brought it in as a template. They were able to make an identical replacement in just 2 business days. If I only knew about this place before roaming Home Depot aisles or trying to repair it myself with YouTube I would have saved myself a lot of time. Thanks again!

We had someone come to our house to check our sliding glass door. We had problems with it over the winter. The technician had dome some damage to our vinyl flooring when he removed the doors and put them on the floor. I contacted the company and someone was supposed to get back to us regarding this and if they had the right size of rollers for the door. This was months ago and we have never heard back from them. They take payment in advance for the service call so at least they got paid for damaging our floor. Do not recommend this company.

Snarky people. I called ahead for a quote. I drove an hour to get there and showed up with the large window frame in a bag that was awkward to carry in the wind. I noticed they had a mask sign in the door but I didn’t have one with me. I walked in and apologized immediately and was about to ask if they had a disposable mask, but before I could even say anything more the guy glared at me as if I’m a lepper and said “go stand by the door.” He shook his head and said “it’s called respect!” So I said sorry and I dragged my window outta there and left. I should have read the reviews before I came here because it looks like they have a history of being rude. I will make sure to tell everyone to avoid this place.

Absolutely would recommend this place to everyone. Bought a new storm door from Jim. He was very friendly and helpful. Then Lloyd came and installed the door. He was very polite and did an awesome job. So glad I found this place. So reliable and do good quality work. Would give more than 5 stars if I could.

I am very disappointed with this company. I had a door installed late last summer. Door was installed crooked and I will have to hire someone to reinstall it. When installing they showed me how it did not line up to the finished surface inside the house. Thanks indicated that I could fix that. What they hide from me was that it was not installed square to the the frame of the house. I did not notice this until they were gone. The company would not fix this. Once your door is installed you are in your own. No warranty. I would not recommend this company.

Very pleased with the level of service and parts availability. Looked at door seals and sweeps at Home Depot and the quality was no where near the quality options available at North End at a lower price as well. Jim was very knowledgeable and provided some great advise. I also had some window openers that were shot and had no idea where to get these, but North End had them in stock which fit perfectly into the previous mounting holes. Really pleased about that. Would highly recommend North End to any one.

Hi everyone, just a heads up. Northend is an awesome company. Jim has a lot of inventory in the way of windows and Doors and has more parts and product for older style windows than anyone else in Manitoba.
