Dauphinee Centre
Newly opened on-campus arena at Saint Mary's university. It's the home of both the women's and men's hockey teams. It has an NHL-sized ice surface, 875 seats and can accommodate more than 1200 fans. It is connected to Homburg Centre for Health & Wellness through a pedway, the Pseudio link, which makes it accessable from gym.

Beautiful modern arena. Loved our playing and viewing experience here. Well thought out building. I imagine parking is a problem depending on the season and day of the week.

The best single-surface facility in Halifax and surrounding area, in my opinion. The rink side seating area is warmer than BMO Centre rink D, but slightly cooler than the Sackville sports stadium. There is also a small indoor viewing area, but you will be fine rink side, if you dress appropriately. No need for a rink blanket, unless you have an unusually low tolerance to the cold. Well done SMU and partners!

Really nice rink. Way better than the old rink. Bright lighting, lots of seats. Good view lines. And only three years old.
