On this rainy Saturday morning, we chose to park and walk South Granville St to one of our favourite destinations…The Small Victory Bread and Coffee experience was amazing…our croissant and scone choices with quality ingredients and tailored made coffees made this weekend quite special and it was easy to see the enjoyment other customers were having….

The place was very busy but the food was a disappointment. The banana bread was dry and tough while the cinnamon roll was the same. The lunch combo came with a chicken roll with dry chicken inside that is also very tough. Coffee was quite outstanding however.The seating is comfortable and so is the setting.

Very busy spot. Ambiance and decor is great. The lemon tart was delicious and the coffee and teas are great. Service was friendly. We had to wait a while for our drink orders (more than 15 mins) because they brew it individually. The only main issue for me was no one was clearing tables at all as people left. Otherwise, I would’ve given 5 stars.

One of the best butter croissants I’ve tried in Vancouver. Do try the pistachio donut croissant as well, never tried anything like it - the pistachio cream inside was so delicious especially chilled, so recommend to take some to go. Friendly staff and warm, cozy interior.

Tons of great pastries and the coffee is ok. Very popular place. Washrooms were clean. Ok after my original post, the mgmt was kind enough to let me know that they do use the Swiss water method" for their decaf coffee. We are happy about that news."

The spinach and ham quiche, breakfast brioche and cinnamon brioche are my favourite. Coffee is very nice and barista's give off a friendly and professional vibe. Good place to sit down with friends.

Wow! A really good place for coffee and a bite! We both had a sandwich.. then went back for a second sandwich to share it was so good. I think the homemade fresh bread (which they also sell) made the sandwich 1000× better.I had the chickpea & sunflower sandwich..we thought it was a great price too!

I got the pistachio croissant donut from here and it was actually really delicious. The pistachio cream inside was very creamy, not too sweet and filled with pistachio flavor. My only critique is the price: $5 for this tiny donut seems a bit much. I do understand that croissants are a pain to make so a lot of work went into this pastry but I think customers would appreciate it if they made it slightly bigger. I also had their americano - wasn't that great tbh it was VERY bitter even though I asked for more hot water. I'll pass on the coffees but will definitely try some other desserts next time.

Small Victory is my go-to coffee shop.Their Carrot cake is hands down the best in town-it’s moist and perfectly spiced.I’ve tried a variety of treats at this place and never been disappointed.Their coffee is also top-notch.Strongly recommended.
