Worst company ever... Costco used to use capital one, thank god they switched to CIBC. Backstory... I had a Costco account with cap one, my wife was the additional secondary card. When they sent her card, they had put someone else's info on my wife's card, they blamed Costco eventhough cap one printed the error and didn't verify anything... Fast forward, my account was moved to cibc as Costco told capital one to kick rocks. My wife wanted a card of her own, she applied, it was approved and mailed out but she couldn't activate it because for whatever reason they decided to put my postal code for my work account onto her account, eventhough she applied using the home info. Then she spends an hour on the chat saying they need the postal code for my work stuff which has nothing to do with her account she got approved for. So I called, and they said that they need to speak to her even though they added my info to her account without my consent. So then I get her on the phone and she says they can continue the convo with me, but then when I was giving them info they keep saying the need to speak to her. Like I'm not sure if they're all just dumb there or if it's their goal to make people mad. Needless to say my wife has already cancelled her card before even activating it. Bunch of clowns.

Well!! Actually I would like to rate them with a negative 1 STAR. After the long ordeal,off dealing with my issue. Since May 24 2020. They called. and told me they would get to the bottom with my issue,and credit me $150 for the lack of serviceI I had with capitol one, that I had to deal with. Oh boy! That solves everything. NOT!.... After they called to give me the credit, they also told me that they would call back and resolve my issue. This was at least two weeks ago and AGAIN I am still waiting and waiting and waiting. And again the sound of CRICKETS fill the HOUSE. BAD company for customer service when you need it. The $150 was nice. They can take it back. But I cannot get a answer. WHY? WHY? WHY?

thee worst customer service ever!!, 90% of the call center people cant speak english properly, talked to 4 people, 4th of which was the supervisor, he seemed ok but spoke to me in French first, the app is complete disaster, locks you out and doesnt have a fail safe to help you get back in, May 18, 8:21pm Saskatchewan time, these customer service representatives dont have a clue how to help you.

The worse company and experience in my life , I’ve been calling for help and nobody give me an asnwer. They own me 5000$ and I’m still waiting for my money, I mentioned to many times that I’ve to move at the end of the month and their answer was , OH YOUR MONEY GOT LOST IN THE MAIL, we can send you a new check , so you have to wait again 10-30 days . THE WORSE !!! I’m just disappointed and heartbroken as I have a family emergency and I do need my money Asap

I cancelled my card in 2018, paid off what I was told I owed. 2 other times (one 12 months later) they told me I owed more. I paid it off, and 5 months later the card is still derogatory, and open?!?!? I've called 3 times, waited 2 hours before they hung up on me. 90 minutes when a representative was going to send me a letter resolving the issue, but the letter was the wrong one!!!! I called again and have waited 4 hours and 45 minutes. Do yourself a favour and never sign up for a card with this company.

Works like a charm - till you need help. After that may as well talk to a wall. Totally run by bots with all the personality of your laptop. Don;t waste your time asking for what the bots have deemed you are eligible" for. No humanity in the company; surprised they have a HR exec. The actions I have experienced they are probably ageist discrminators"
