Brenda's Dog Spa

My dads health was failing so I have had to take his dog Lucy (14 years old) into my home. I've never had a small dog that needed regular grooming, we've only ever had large hound dogs whose grooming entailed a bath every so often and their nails trimmed, Lucy on the other hand needs quite a bit of care which I wasn't capable of doing. I found Brenda and I am so thankful. Lucy is well cared for, professionally groomed and there's no stress for Lucy or for me. I'm so grateful to Brenda and her staff and I highly recommend them.The picture is Lucy the day she arrived here before I found Brenda

After nearly 2 years of being a loyal customer I will never return to Brenda's dog spa, and nor will my family who has also been using her.Back in January after an extended period between grooms Semra clipped my poodle VERY short. This was after I had brushed him out a few days before know he had been matted. She even shaved his tail. He looked horrible but I gave grace because I knew it had been a while and her previous grooms had be good. I booked an apt for 6 weeks out to get him back on a regular schedule but when that time came and I got my text reminder I clicked and canceled the appointment.When I called a week ago to book an appointment I was booked in no problem, however when I arrived, I was told I no showed to my last appointment and there would be a 50% fee. I'd have never called Semra particularly warm and friendly but she was downright rude.While I accept she had no notification I clearly remeber canceling and have never missed an appointment, have always tipped, and been loyal. When I said I'd leave with him she said it was fine. I did mention my mother is another customer and she'd be loosing both our business she again said that's fine".Had I been called in advance

I was on the search for a new dog groomer, as my dog's previous groomer had retired. I was nervous taking my dog to a new spot as we have had bad experiences in the past. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised with our experience. They cut and styled my dog perfectly, and they were fast. 2 hours to groom him, and he didn't look distressed at all. I will definitely be bringing him back

I have been looking for a new groomer for awhile and I was struggling to find a good fit. Finally I have found a winner!! Brenda's Dog Spa were efficient with time they groomed my 7 pound toy poodle in the estimated time I was told. She looked great!! She seemed happy which is a Great sign. And the bonus is I have a second dog that just needs nails clipping but because he gets super stressed out, like bloodshot eyes and increased blood pressure and anxiety I haven't taken him to anyone in a couple of years. I know it's unhealthy but the stress on him was too much. But someway somehow at Brenda's they were able to trim his nails, it was such a relief and I was super happy. We will definitely be back!!

What a fantastic place! A hidden gem here in Mississauga. Since finding Brenda's dog Spa we are so very pleased with their services, and the care they provide to every canine client. Both of our Cane Corso go now, the groomer doing their nails with care, confidence and experience !Impressive to say the least.

This groomer specified she does not brush or cut out any knots. They will claim it’s for humane reasons but let’s be clear, it is more profitable for them to shave your dog for $70 then it is to actually spend the time required to properly groom them. She indicated she would not do any work just to have the dog “look good” for me. As a as a groomer, she should be well aware that a coat provides much more value - it provides warmth in winter and the ability to cool down in the summer. It also protects your dogs skin from the sun. Beware of the manipulation tactics groomers use to make their business max profitable - ultimately putting their needs above the clients and dogs they believe they are “protecting”

I have a very stubborn five legged dog. She doesn’t like staying still or getting groomed at all. She’s been turned away from other groomers because of her disability and difficult behaviour. My mom took her here for me and said that all the staff she met were very nice and gave me advice on how to make her next groom easier. My sister takes her dog here to get his nails clipped and spoke very highly of everyone here. My dog looks great im so happy with the results. Previous groomers skipped over her double legs but Brenda trimmed the nails on them and trimmed the hair which was a nice bonus that I was not expecting. (Before and after photos)

It is the only place I will ever take my Leonberger Avalon to be groomed. She had spinal surgery in March and needed to be bathed so bad but couldn't stand very well. They let me be with her and took the greatest care of her and she looked beautiful when after they were done
