Yesterday I received my booster shot at the Healthy Planet Arena. As in the case of my two previous injections there, the overall process was exceptionally well-organized and remarkably efficient. Thank you for all of your difficult and excellent work, PPH! This cannot be a 5-star review, however, because the booster shot experience differed from my previous experiences in one important respect. I found everyone friendly and pleasant as usual until the nurse arrived to jab me - she was verbally and even physically abusive. She was condescending, insulting, and extremely rude. Beware of Jennifer Fraser! Is it possible to register a formal complaint against this person? I was astonished to learn later that she is Manager" of the Kawartha Cardiology Clinic where she has also received poor reviews regarding her abusive treatment of patients."

Just hung up from a young lady named Amber. She could not have been kinder. She was able to give me some advice on how to get a vaccine for someone in my family who is high risk. Amber was so polite and empathetic. She totally understood my frustration and acknowledged my worries. She took the time to listen to my concerns and advised me of our options. This staff is working as best as they can with the information given to them.Remember that they are front line workers too.. Be kind and respectful. They have been working in a very stressful environment for a year.Thank you again Amber. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Very well organized. We were in and out in a very reasonable time frame. I had my 5th vaccination but did not get a receipt as in other times. Just wondered with Peterborough's demographic of nearly 25% seniors why. Many seniors are not computer literate and would probably not get their information printed from your online site.

When no one else was sure if I could receive the vaccine the amazing staff at Peterborough Health responded quickly and positively. They went above and beyond. So thankful for their assistance.

Getting my husband vaccinated could not have gone smoother. His appointment was at 2:30 and he left at 2:47. PPH deserve all the credit.

Peterborough Public Health employees have done some of the best contact tracing in Ontario. I truly believe the only reason we have such low numbers is due to their dedication and hardwork.

I used to be a patient here for everything from birth control to paps to updating immunizations. With COVID, they've shut all community services down meaning if you don't have a family doctor there's no doctor to consult with birth control about, and my spouse has lapsed on his TDAP immunization - both of which are scary as we have a newborn. The community needs more than just COVID support and I wish they would reopen to meet that need.

I sincerely appreciate everything that Peterborough Public Health has done during the pandemic. From reliable science-based medical information to mass vaccination clinics to counsel to people running public events in the midst of ever-changing provincial regulations, they’ve been brilliant, brave and accessible. Thank you.
