I used to go to the barbershop for haircut with mj years ago but this hair styling place it has a lot of hairstyles plus selling chocolate that you pay $2.50 for huge chocolate bars.

Everyone who works here are very pleasant. From the barber, to Elizabeth to Whitley to the Barber forgot his name. Surprise by the prices and also though the place is small it's clean. Be prepare to wait a little especially in the afternoon and weekends. But overall we had a positive experience.

The saloon is very clean, spacious and well ventilated, the staff are very professional. Their service justified my time and money spent there.

This place is not a professional establishment at all. Once you walk in it feels as if you took a step into a run down salon. No one is there to greet you at the door, they do not have boards or posters which specify the hairstyles they do and how much they charge. The cost of hairstyles is ridiculous. When I went to get my hair flat ironed, Whitney specifically told me it would cost about 60 or 70 dollors the style ended up being 120 after it was done. She added no other product to my hair, my hair was already washed before I got there all she did was flat iron and my price magically doubled. The hairstyle is mediocre at best. The process was drawn out, due to them attending to family members when they walk in, leaving me to do their family members hair first. They would stop also to talk on the phone, which were personal call sessions, they would talk with others barbers and just stretch out the styling process to the max. I do not recommend this salon, it is a red flag the moment you walk in.

I had my box braids done at Hair Evolution a week ago and I have never been more satisfied with a hair appointment. All the Stylists are so so friendly, helpful, kind and professional. There is a warm and friendly feeling in the shop and everyone is treated with love and respect. Auntie V did my hair and even though my hair was really short and silky she gripped it with no problem, I’ve have never had my hair braided without zero pain, it literally felt like a head massage, I almost fell asleep! She was so sweet and so good, she went above and beyond and she was so gentle and skilled, my braids still look fresh and feel strong. I was there for about 6hrs and I never saw anyone take a break longer than a few minutes, every stylist kept helping customer after customer with skill and smiles. There is a lot of fun and jokes while you are being helped so no chance of being bored either. I would come back here again and again without fail.
