Came over from Vancouver to look at an SUV and trade in my old sedan. Worked with Jeff who was great, didn’t feel pressured, was super friendly and felt extremely genuine. He was awesome. Everyone else was friendly and easy to work with as well. The process was smooth and and painless and felt like a very fair interaction. Overall, great customer service. We are looking to switch to electric, as the cost of living is going up and it seems more realistic in the long run to look for something that will be sustainable for both us and the environment. We also just had our first baby so a family car is something we are I the market for! We are currently working with Elliot James there and I am so happy he reached out to us. He's a genuinely great sales person who really cares about our needs. Even from the moment we met I knew he was the right professional for us. His knowledge, professionalism understanding of detail and compassion for our budget make the experience at Kia Harris top notch!

I recently purchased a second hand vehicle remotely and unseen from Harris Kia. I would not normally purchase a vehicle without seeing it but did so because the numerous photos in the ad showed the vehicle to be in excellent condition and because it is an official Kia dealership. The arrangement with the salesperson was that the car should be delivered in the condition as advertised. When the vehicle was delivered, I was stunned to see a big dent on the one side and some damage over the wheel arch that is causing the metal to corrode. I am also not sure how accurate the inspection report is since the windshield washer fluid was empty, despite the report showing the green box ticked and that it is good".Based on my experience

Got my Sportage serviced for a coolant leak. I found the service department to be more sales orientated then wanting to fixed my leak. I was threatened with not having warranty coverage if I did not replace my brakes and tires with them. I bought an cabin filter previously. They offered to switch it out for me for $40 labour fee. Why would I pay them to do something I can do in less than a minute? Charged me a loaner fee when I was told it would be covered.Since getting my vehicle serviced there I requested that the service manager contact me via phone message and email. It has been months... no call.They have added me to their sales call list too. I am getting called by the sales team almost weekly. I did call today to be removed from their call list. Maybe with a negative Google review they might make some changes. Either way.... they lost me as a customer.

In 2021 we purchased a 2018 Kia Sorento from Harris Kia in Nanaimo. The purchasing experience was very good. My wife and I went in and told the sales person what we were looking for and that we would consider new or used. To our surprise the sales person took us straight to the used 2018 Kia Sorento. It turned out to be a very good fit. The process was relaxed with no pressure and the vehicle served us very well.In December of 2022 Bryan Bare from Harris Kia called to let us know that, since all of the maintenance on our Kia had been done with them so was well known by them, might we consider trading it in on something newer. Initially I was not very excited about the idea but we decided to see what our options were.There happened to be a 2021 Telluride on the lot and, back in 2021 when we purchased our Sorento, we had been interested in the Telluride but there were non available even to look at. When we took a look at it we agreed that it was as good as we had hoped back in 2021 and were interested in trading our Sorento in for it.Bryan and Josh helped us through the process. We felt they were very open and honest with us, both on the value of our 2018 Sorento and on the 2021 Telluride we ultimately purchased. There was no pressure and they gave us the private time we needed to talk and think about the options and really made the experience a good one.We have had our Telluride now for just over a month, have taken it on a couple of small trips and love it. It is a little bigger and is proving to be a good upgrade for us.When it comes time to consider a new or newer vehicle we will definitely make Harris Kia our first stop.Thank you very much Bryan, Josh and Harris Kia.

Elliott from the sales department was extremely helpful. This is the second vehicle I bought from him and I have nothing but positive feedback. He was able to hook me up with a great trade deal and helped me get into a vehicle that met all of my needs. Not only do I highly recommend buying a Kia vehicle but I definitely suggest if you're looking, Elliott is your guy! No hidden expenses? Ya right, tons of hidden expenses like the mandatory Van Isle package...$400 of value for $1999. Then the finance fee (which takes your effective rate over 0.5% higher but it gets added to your principle). Be aware when dealing with this dealer or any other. There's Doc Fee, Finance Access Fee, Van Isle Package (its BS, just rubber mats and wheel nuts/key and an upholstery scotch guard)

Don't take your car here for service, I've unfortunately had to make a habit of double-checking their work at this point. I could've excused a couple minor mistakes, but it's been pretty much every time I take it in at this point.When I bought the car, they put on locking lugs, and took off one too many lugs which they put in a bag in the glovebox. No one questioned why they had 5 lugs when they only installed 4.Took it in to fix a cosmetic defect with the steering assembly's cover. They returned it to me with half the dash apart and swore up and down that they fixed the defect that I personally showed them. Did they actually? No.And then today, I had window visors and a hood protector installed. The hood protector wasn't properly adhered to the hood, and was missing a locking clip to hold it in place.The one upside is that they've fixed every mistake free of charge when pointed out to them, but the fact that these occur with alarming regularity is greatly concerning. I've not even had the car a year yet at this point either.
