The Salvation Army Thrift Store

It was very clean with lots of different clothing. I especially loved how kind the cashier was. When you're having to buy a whole new wardrobe it's expensive and the cashier made it just a bit cheaper . I have to replace everything due to a 55 pound weight loss going from almost an 18 down to a 6.

The staffers there are kind and cooperative, but what I noticed during the delay period, the prices are very expensive, and if compared to the new, there is no big difference, the prices are supposed to be appropriate for people with limited income to benefit from them.I appeal to the people working there and those responsible for prices to set the prices of materials and clothes most appropriately and cheaply for all shoppers. Not a huge store, but usually some good deals to be had, items are typically in good condition but check for damage before you buy, sometimes they miss broken zips or a hole in fabric.I prefer to donate here as opposed to their competition because they do a lot of great work here in the city (shelters, meal programs etc).Store is always tidy and the staff are very friendly and courteous, great place to wander around and find some bargains!

It was a great visit last Saturday on the 27th of may but this heavyset woman with her husband who has cuck vibes was calling all the poor employees rude names after she deliberately ripped a price tag off a dress, my wife and I were in shock on how people like this exist.

Very happy and helpful staff and of course the best is the prices, 3 shorts for under $19.00, you can't beat that

I BET THEY TOLD U TO RITE THE FALSE REVIEW BTW I DIDNT RIP OFF THE TAG FROM THE DRESS THAT'S WHAT THEY TOLD U THERE FOR GET UR FACTS STRAIGHT INSTEAD OF RIGHTING A FALSE REVIEW .. Fantastic Store. Huge inventory of clothing and nice quality. Bought a Steve Madden coat for $14.99... lots of designer wear, you just have to look.

Good prices, wonderful staff, and great non=profit organisation . Going to a good cause

We have been shopping and donating at this store for the past five years or more. Today's visit Saturday 27th started off well & then my wife noticed a dress missing a price tag which she wanted to purchase. She asked an employee the very heavy set guy there if he could get her a price. The heavy set woman with burgundy hair in the back making tickets looked out to see who it was first and noticed it was my wife. They both gave us dirty looks and began chatting and laughing with the heavy set guy & ignoring my wife. My wife then spoke up and said are you going to give me a price on the dress? They both continued to ignore her and talk amongst themselves. The same woman has given my wife dirty looks several times in the past and gossiped with her other coworkers whenever see sees my wife & l. My wife has mentioned how unhappy and miserable she always appears and seems not to want to be there like most workers we've observed. The much older heavier set grey haired woman with a pony tail sweeping up appears to have listened to the other women which she always does to the point she's always close by & going around my wife to hear our conversations and whenever my wife is on her phone. My wife & l have noticed on numerous occasions as we are leaving the store after our purchases they begin to laugh and joke about us this includes the Supervisors & Managers. We noticed as well when my wife mentioned to me that she was going to write a review she replied go ahead I don't care you don't sign my paychecks in a very loud voice that other customers stopped in their tracks because of her loud voice & unprofessionalism than slammed the back room door in our faces, other workers have mentioned that several coworkers that worked with her & some others are difficult to get along & to work with and why some have left. This store seems to have developed a rude and disrespectful work place attitude not in keeping with the values of the Salvation Army Meaning which is very sad. Needles to say we shall take both our business and our donations to a different store going forward. If your very unhappy in your workplace & you don't want to be there for what ever reason but looking miserable do yourself a favour & look for another job !!Note to the owner I can see why there's a lot of bad reviews with regards of your staff on how there rude & unfriendly to your customers .. NOT a shocker

I went there yesterday to buy 5 shirts for work and one of the cashiers with long hair keeped following me around. She stared at me for a good 5 minutes straight. I felt so uncomfortable that I had had to finish my shopping and I left. I'll never shop there again.
