I was looking for a REAL barber in the Muskoka area after moving here from Ottawa and Mike is definitely the real deal. The shop is clean and cozy. Mike did a perfect fade, has a great attention to detail, very friendly and I did not feel like he was in a rush to get me out of his chair. Definitely worth the drive from Huntsville and would recommend him to anyone looking for an old school barber that specializes in mens hair.

The best professional barber shop experience in the Simcoe/Muskoka area. If you’re from the Barrie to the greater Huntsville area you have to check out Mike! He’s one of the best barbers I’ve ever had in my life. He will give you an amazing barber shop experience and Develop a barber to customer relationship with you. The shop is also very clean and tidy, you can tell he loves this profession and he goes the extra mile to make his customers feel welcomed. Thanks Mike for the amazing cut and shave!! FYI. I’ve been now 7 times and every time it’s consistent and perfectly done!

Great place! It can be tough to find a good barber. I met Mike before he opened Black Bear Barber Co so I was already confident with his skills before I took the trek to Gravenhurst to get a hair cut. Drove about an hour and a half round trip.Excellent attention to detail, great conversation, no rush service, cool atmosphere, good pricing.If you go to Black Bear Barber Co, you will not be disappointed! Be sure to go to the website or call to make an appointment to avoid waiting or having to make two trips.

Mike did an excellent job on my skin fade and made sure I was happy with the result. Very pleased with the service and attention to detail. Easy flowing conversation in a clean and relaxed atmosphere. Great line of products as well! Found my regular spot close to home. Highly recommended.
