Shoppers Drug Mart

My 5 year old daughter has been sick with a terrible cough for the last few days. I have talked to two different pharmacists and each time it was a great experience. They asked insightful questions and provided a variety of options. In addition, they asked me to call tomorrow to update them on my daughters condition. I am incredibly impressed and love my community pharmacist.

I just had the most wonderful 5 star service from Mohamed Kayed and Kim (I would give them 6 stars if I could). They were the absolute dream team. Helped me with my needs and beyond. Thank-you to the both of you. My sons recovery is going to go so smoothly because of you guys and we couldn't be happier.

Customer service post COVID has taken a hit. Cashier was on a “break” despite the till being lit, no greeting or acknowledgment, rang things through and then stood there waiting for me to bag everything. I could have had the same level of service at self checkout, but without the attitude. Amazes me that staff doesn’t realize if you add no value to the customer experience, not hard to justify replacing you with a machine. Won’t be back to this location.

Very poor customer service at till. Poor attitude from clerk from the moment I stepped up to till. There has been the same issue every time I’ve had this clerk. No greeting, no smile, doesn’t ask questions and then blames customer when a problem arises. This is the face of your sore, I would expect more.

This pharmacy has gone DOWN hill. I’ve never been so disappointed in service. These are peoples’ medications and health. I understand certain issues arise, however the staff often has little to no empathy for patients when they do occur. I had my partner pick up my prescription this evening, only to have him arrive with only 4 out of the 90 tablets. Nothing was said to him upon pick up. When I called to inquire, I was told that there was an outage of my medication. So why was this not said upon pickup? I understand being out of the drug. However, when I asked how to obtain more of the prescription, I was met with an unsympathetic and unhelpful attitude. I was told I would have to contact other pharmacies to see if they had it. Due to disability, things like this are hard for me as now I have to call around with no help or assistance, and find a location, transfer all information to said pharmacy, and then somehow get myself there to pick it up. I repeatedly asked for help with this before realizing I would find no more help even though I need this medication. This is not the first time I have had a situation, and I understand that mistakes happen. However, almost every time, I am met with little apology (if any) and am usually left to figure out the conflict on my own. I’ve been a customer here for years and I have also had many pleasant experiences (although not recently) so it sucks that they can’t seem to get it together. I just wish they could remember that us patients have our own struggles (hence why I’m taking medication) and what seems to them to be “inconveniences” are often much more and have a real impact on customers’ well-being.

Came in at 11:40am when I got off work.needes groceries for my kid in the am. They told me the can't accept cash because they close their till although it was still 20 minutes till they close. I told her I didn't have any other way to pay. Her supervisor came over saying the same thing. I insisted it was for my toddler they begrudgingly obliged. This is terrible customer service

Ive always had a good experience interacting with Pharmacy staff. Most of them are very helpful and knowledgeable.

Quite amazing! Pharmacy staff treat you like you're important and so are your medical needs and the staff always seem to go beyond basic service and are efficient to make your experience above and beyond and do the extra little steps to help your situation even more than what you would expect and even when you're in a hurry. Only reason I'm not giving five stars is cuz they recently had a new girl yesterday fill in and she had terrible phone etiquette and acted as though she was just telling me whatever she had to to get me off the phone when I asked about prescription delivery she said I don't really know anything about that so I can't really do that for you and when I asked her to find out from somebody she said yeah sure and put me on hold for close to an hour and I called back and got someone else right away and they just dealt with it so I don't know if it's a training issue but everybody else seems to know how to do the job or seems to care enough to ask.

Overall this is a great Shopper's Drug Mart Location. The store is neat and tidy. The Pharmacists at this location are exceptional and supportive and exceeded my expectations of great customer service.

I am going to rate it 5-star because of the exceptionally high quality of advice provided by the pharmacist. I forgot his name however I have met him in the late evenings.He is passionate about his work and goes above and beyond to provide his advice for medical issues. There were times when our family members needed immediate medical attention and in the late evenings, he is first point of contact.He is a true hero and I cannot thank him enough for his service and kindness.
