do not recommend using this company at all because their payment system for pet carers means they hold on to carers money for as long as possible. When you try to chase payment they go missing and drip feed you the wrong answers you cant call them because there is no contact telephone number. They have owed me 400+ now for some time. There payments never arrive on the day they say they will. I strongly suggest avoiding this company whose main priority is profit. They charge the highest rates of commission and they charge you for getting your money paid sooner which is utterly bizarre amongst the self employed or freelance community. Legally speaking money became due the moment work was completed. They definitely collect it as soon as possible from clients but then where does it go? Oh its being processed? Then it goes into a wallet, then I have to say I want it in my bank account and then that takes five days?? Why? Why is Rover an automatic 5 days and Tailster disappears your money for days on end!? If I do not hear from this company in the form of depositing owed money into my bank accounts then I will attend the offices to get a response. Not good enough!

If I could no stars I would. Awful service if you are a care provider. Take weeks to pay you, hold money for days on end even though they take the money from the client before you start the work. Charge you to expedite your payment if you don’t want to wait 5 working days! Awful customer service. Bad bad company.

I am unfortunatelly another sitter that has not been paid,nearly 2 weeks after the sitting and final date was Wednesday,they told me to expect it by the end of Thursday for unknow reason and still on Friday not being paid! This is ridiculous and I will not be providing quotes on the website no more,even cancelled a booking already.Very dissapointed.The owner also left me a review so I can get paid quicker,well it will be a surprise if I get paid at all.

Great service and ease of use, found a fabulous carer first time for my pampered little pooch. The site is easy to use and navigate and feels secure in terms of carers available, emergency cover and payments. So far so good. Will use again.

From the reviews, it seems that most dog owners don’t have many issues. However, as a carer, Tailster has been very frustrating to use. To start, the interface is so basic and difficult to use. Plus there was no clear way to input bank details to get paid, which feels sneaky. I transferred money to my account over a month ago now and I’m still waiting to get paid. When you call their number no one EVER picks up, you just get disconnected. They responded a few times on WhatsApp saying they’d request updates then just stopped replying. I’m STILL waiting for the money and now I’ve spent hours of my life trying to chase it up. To top it all, they take 20% which is a large cut for such bad service. Perhaps I’ve been unlucky, but it’s just been a poor experience so far.

Booked and confirmed carer for our dog 4 months ago only to have the carer cancel just prior to our holiday.(She said that she had another job and couldn’t look after our pet.No apology and we are left having to find a last minute replacement. We feel badly let down by this organisation

Poor user experience. There is no way to look for the sitter by yourself. You can only be contacted if any sitter is interested in your listing. I only got one person coming back to me a week after.

Found a lovely catsitter using Tailster for our nervous cats. The whole process of finding one in our area and booking was smooth. They came over for a meet & greet first and sent daily updates once hired. Highly recommend using Tailster.
