I stopped in randomly on a warm afternoon, not quite sure what I wanted and originally thought I would only stay for a drink.I decided to stay for dinner, and was glad I did. I tried the duck, which I don't eat often, but I was very impressed. It was one of the best meals I've had in a long time, perfectly cooked in my opinion with such a great flavour and texture.I don't know when I'll be back on Haida Gwaii, but I'll definitely try this place again when I'm here.

Fresh, local food from Haida Gwaii lovingly and expertly prepared by the chef Guilio - he knows how to cook good food.The area is gorgeous, the hosts warm and friendly. Really what more could you ask for. Definitely the freshest best meals on Haida Gwaii. They serve locally foraged and harvested ingredients in the most delicious way possible.

This quaint restaurant in Daajiing Giids is a place you do not want to miss! Italian owner who moved here with his little family, are kicking it out of the park with the food. Service good. Come early or book a table. Place is not 'high-end' but your in Haida Gwaii. His food IS high-end!

I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste. My company was absolutely flabbergasted & raved about the flavors. We were on a tight timeline, to catch the ferry, and they made sure to get his tuna bowl in a very few minutes.

The food was fantastic at Gather. I had never had a fish charcuterie board so we shared that for our table first. Such an interesting and delicious take on the seafood. We had the salmon and lemon risotto, polenta fries and spruce tip key lime pie (forgot to take the photo till after I had some). All were fantastic! I had never had polenta fries before but after one in our group suggested we share an order, I'm really glad we did.If you're in the area, make sure this is one of your stops.

After 11 daze of Grey Bay bliss, we were keen on a fine meal.Gather,Giulio and his crew did not disappoint. Amazing meal and an awesome venue. Giulio made us feel so welcome, we had a 4 year old with us as well and she loved playing in the kids kitchen and trikes on the patio. Giulio catered to the vegetarian and gluten free challenge in our group. The fish charcuterie was so good, can't wait to return

Ate here for 2 days straight during my business trip. Staff is friendly and food tastes homemade. DG is lucky to have a place like this!

Lovely and thoughtfully designed space. Super cozy and warm interior. Great views with a great outdoor space. They even have a play kitchen for young guests! I tried the halibut risotto and a glass of wine with my meal. Portions were just right with enough room for dessert. I tried the Affogato for dessert. The service was amazing and the flavours were well balanced.
