Royal Oak Pet Clinic

This review is hard to write but a must as I wish I could give this clinic 10 stars ! my beloved girl BUBBLES passed last month after suffering a stroke at the age of almost 14 . She was a long time client at royal oak pet clinic however she passed at emergency care. Despite her last visit not being at royal oak , we received the most beautiful well written condolence card from royal oak pet clinic. this was incredibly thoughtful . Great clinic with wonderful staff .

The veterinarians and support staff that have worked with my darling animals have all been so kind to my fuzzy companions and so supportive for me in challenging times. My darling Pippin will be in again for surgery, and I know he will be given the best and most loving care he could have.

Attentive and thorough care for my pet rat, Belle. They were helpful and answered my questions.

It's hard to find the right words to explain how grateful I am to the team at Royal Oak Pet Clinic. Having a chronically ill animal (who also happens to be an exotic pet) is extremely challenging. Dr. Chambers has always been so caring and helpful. She has gotten us through some very difficult times. Today my guinea pig and I met with Dr. Bay. It's always stressful having to meet with a new vet. My boy was immediately taken with Dr. Bay which was incredible, as he does not like humans. She treated me with respect and kindness, and she was wonderful to speak with. The whole team at the clinic has proven time and time again to do everything in their power to help us, they are all incredible. I cannot recommend or thank them enough.

Our dog is quiet anxious and fearful and she was so well taken care of. It was her first visit here and usually before we even open a door to a vets office she's pulling away and shaking. Her last experience at a vet she expressed her glands and was really stressed. Here she was much more calm and comfortable in the space and around the friendly workers. In the exam room she cooperated very well and Dr Bay was so lovely with her. We also appreciated that she focused on what her needs were and didn't add on extra treatments that didn't apply to her lifestyle and increase costs. We have never had such a pleasant experience with our dog before since she usually is extremely stressed and scared, it says it all for us that this clinic is the one for us.

THIS CLINIC IS THE BOMB !As a first time pet owner, it was intimidating trying to find someone I can trust, and I feel extremely lucky to have found Royal Oak. I feel like they truly care about my pets’ wellbeing, and not just about profit, as I’ve experienced at other clinics. I’ve been bringing my rats to see Dr Bay for over a year now, and Dr Chambers even performed surgery for one of them. Soon I’ll be bringing in my new cat to see them, too. They are incredibly thorough, and are always patient and informative when I start asking way too many questions. The reception staff is always very organized, helpful and great to talk to. It’s very clear everyone loves animals and their job. My own doctors office isn’t even as kind and caring as this team haha10/10 would recommend! Can’t wait for the new renovated clinic!

Dr. Chambers has been consistently good for my pets for many years, she was one of the only vets in town who knew anything about ferrets.She always gives you options of what can be done for your pet. Her calm demeanor puts my cats at ease.

Veternarian Bay has been so kind and thoughtful. I had to put down one of my pets and she let me stay with her and hold her until the very end and explained to me what was going on during the process. Then I also received a letter in the mail with everyones condolences. Very nice staff who care deeply about your animals.

Dr. Chambers is such a compassionate and caring individual. Our puppy is in the best hands when he is with her. However, I’ve deducted one star as I have no interest of seeing Dr. Grant again. Offering a highly biased and rather personalized opinion is highly unprofessional when only medical advice is requested by the patient. Her energy is cold and unwelcoming. Otherwise, we love this clinic and will continue to see Dr. Chambers.

The staff are amazing and the upgraded facility can do most things that my pet requires. My cat needs a lot of care and the staff are always willing to take my calls and make an effort to get me in to see a vet as soon as possible. I highly recommend taking your pet here.
