Dr. Lorne Segall M.D.

I hope you are reading this before you visiting Dr. SegallHe is extremely arrogant and he has zero interest in your complaint. I told him I have been with this pain for over six months and he said something around the lines of this is not part of his practice. I went in with a sinus related question and pain and he continues to not listen and dismissed me within 4 minutes of walking into the patient room. Probably one of the worst experiences I ever had with a specialist. Don't waste your time waiting for an appointment with this doctor.

Dr. Segall cared for not only me but my husband and mother-in-law, he was always attentive and caring and he will be missed. Our condolences to his wife and family, including his work family.

Have to say, I'm a bit puzzled by all of the poor reviews. My partner was assigned to Dr. Segall and he was fantastic through and though. He was patient, kind and was sure to carefully explain the diagnosis and the course of action.Due to the nature of the illness, a surgery was required sooner rather than later. Dr. Segall was able to fit the surgery in his schedule in a very timely manner. After the surgery was over, he called me to explain how the procedure went and again, he was very patient, taking any questions I had and explained the procedure and next steps very thoroughly.Some of the reviews here are very undeserving. For example, to those complaining about tardiness, this is standard in Canadian medical care. It's not at all the fault of the specialist; there is a very high demand for specialist time. If you think the wait time is poor, write to your MP or MPP to improve the status quo for both physicians and patients, don't write an unwarranted review.

Is it the standard for doctors in Toronto to not listen to the patient and make them make separate appointment for every tiny bit of issues (that are related and can get solved just in one setting if listened to) ? He doesn't listen to the patient at all. He doesn't even listen to your symptoms. As it appears from other reviews he only check you for 2 minutes and insert a device to your nose. Not listening to patients. He should be reported.

Dr. Lorne Segall is a kind hearted excellent professional.His team is also very good and professional. They all make sure that patients are attended in timely and caring environment. I would highly recommend Dr. Segall. May the God bless Dr. Segall and his entire team good health and happiness.

I saw Dr. Segall 5 years ago for a deviated septum. He was one of the most patient and caring surgeons I have ever met. He listened to my concerns, answered all my questions and even tossed in some humor to help with my nervousness. His bedside manner is remarkable. I was impressed by his work. The surgery went well and recovery went by fast without any problems. I haven't had any problems since then and breathe really well now!

Dr. Segall is an amazing ENT surgeon. I've experienced his work since 2012 when he removed my Thyroid and cancer involved.I look at his work daily as my neck barely shows a scare. Thankyou Dr. Lorne!

I don't know why people gave him low rating. If a doctor is able to assess you in a short time that means he is experienced.Secondly he was very humble and composed while attending me and although our interaction was of about 15 mins but I left his room satisfied with his assessment.

My experience with Dr.Segall was very positive. He was very professional and patient. I never felt rushed and he answered all my questions throughly, I felt heard and taken care of. I’m so glad I didn’t let the negative reviews here affect my decision to go see him. It was definitely a five star experience for me!!

Dr. Segall was my son's ENT. He made my son feel at ease and put my mind at ease as well. Very kind and compassionate. My heart goes out to his family and friends as they struggle with his death.
