SLG Farm

My kids started lessons here at SLG a few weeks ago and are absolutely loving it! The staff is super kind and welcoming especially to brand new riders. They are super knowledgeable and have really made my kids feel comfortable around horses. I highly recommend SLG, Melissa and her team of coaches.

My daughter’s experience was nothing but positive at SLG and will be held dear; she went from her first English riding lesson learning how to tack up to soon jumping and taking part in her first show. Her instructors were skilled and created a comfortable learning environment in which she could grow as a student and made the lessons a fun atmosphere. Very impressed :)

Melissa and her team have been amazing. My 4yo started riding in March and was very nervous. Her coaches have been so patient and kind to her, they know when and how to push her just enough to boost her confidence. I couldn’t recommend SLG farms more, they are amazing at what they do!

My daughter is LOVING horse camp! I wasn’t sure if my daughter even liked horses but after 2 days of camp that’s all she can talk about. Such a fun and positive experience for her. The staff are fantastic and very accommodating! We will be signing her up for camp again 100% Thanks SLG FARMS!

My daughter has been taking lessons here for a while now. This summer we decided to do summer camp. She had a absolute blast!! She came home each and everyday and told me about all the fun things they had done that day. She learned a lot of new skills and had a great time doing it. ALL OF THE instructors are fun, caring, sweet and understanding individuals. We couldn't be happier with our experience.

I have been talking my daughter since 2021. She loves the farm and all the horses. The owner Melissa is amazing and she has wonderful professional team of coaches. We are very happy. I highly recommend this horseback riding place.

SLG is definitely our home away from home and we cannot speak more highly about the lesson program, staff and general positive environment that SLG provides for everyone that is a part of their programs. Melissa Gibson is extremely supportive, a great communicator and genuinely wants the best for her clients and horses and provides an amazing program for both my daughters that they are thriving in. The instructors are absolutely wonderful and will design your lessons to your strengths, interests and areas of need. My daughters could not be happier here and love their time spent at the stable. SLG is in our ❤️‘s!!!

We just moved to the area and was looking for riding lessons for my eight year old. I posted on a community page to ask for local schools. The owner contacted me to letMe know she had space. FromThe beginning she was not very accommodating , with not wiling to provide private lessons. I cooperated and did group lesson. On many occasions I felt that things were not very organized. Two times my daughter was left alone with the horse while the trainer went to do something else. In my experience you do not leave a young child alone with a horse. On another occasion my daughter was about to mount in her horse and the horse started acting strange and ran out of the barn. They did not reassure my daughter who was noticeably scared.The owner is very rude and not approachable, always texting me if I don’t pay 5minutes after she contacts me. Not willing to provide private lessons to my daughter.The last time there she texted me saying I was late and it was not allowed and unacceptable. I explained I had a family emergency and she still was rude and did not even acknowledge that she cared. She is a very unapproachable owner who should learn good customer étiquette.In the whole time there never saw her smile or even say hi????It is too bad my daughter did enjoy herself, but I believe she didn’t care because she now has enoughClients. I am writing this because others deserve to know what type of customer experience you will receive.
