I have a landscape contractor business. I have dealt with 404 stone a few times. The prices are higher and the service and wait times above average. They have a great selection of natural stone and they are fair with you picking the better pieces. Overall i go there if need something i can't find elsewhere but mainly shop at other suppliers that are less stuck up and pricey. I don't feel i am important as a customer compared to closely competition.

Great place if you are looking for concrete patio steps. Have better display than Beaver Valley Stone whose display is nothing more but disorganized disaster. Techno-Block offers bright and vivid paver and step colors.

I used 404 Stone for all the materials for a large landscaping project at my home. The sales people took the time to help me pick out a stone that matched perfectly with my home and swimming pool. I used the Inca stone by Techo-Bloc and picked out some beautiful natural stone for a large retaining wall we had built. After searching everywhere for the right interlocking stone and natural stone for our application Techo-Bloc and 404 Stone certainly delivered. If considering a landscape project at your home I would recommend to pass by and check out there displays and get some ideas from there knowledgeable staff.

My interactions with 404 stone at the Stouffville location have been outstanding! From the front office staff to the yard staff, everyone went out of their way to be helpful, answer questions, and were very friendly. I highly recommend supporting this business as their customer service is truly exceptional. Well done 404 stone!

Awesome people! Good prices.Very welcoming and professional people. I really enjoyed working with them.I am a DIYer and had a really good experience with 404 stone. The white gentleman in black T-shirt and baseball cap spent 30 minutes to teach me about the methods and materials and he was very honest.The lady helped us after the store was closed to provide price list and brochure ( I was in rush but you do not do that. People like to go home ontime after a long working day). Amaaaaazing delivery people. Best delivery experience so far. These people are professionals.

Very disappointed I had organized my Saturday to pickup some materials from them google and their website both said they'd be open but they weren't. They also wouldn't accept a load of clean fill because it had a couple roots in it

Great quality stone for a great price. The staff is all very friendly and provide both fast and helpful service. They always ensure awesome service for their customers and always make themselves available to answer all questions; even during their most busiest times. One of the best stone yards in York region. This place is full of knowledgeable and helpful people. Mike, Dixi, Deana, and the rest of the staff, that I can not remember their name.Very easy place to deal with. Lots of choices and very reasonable prices.
