Rico has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Did me a favor coming all the way out to Blue Mountains and putting a rush on the install of my Caliornia shutters. Had a bunch of recommendations and contacts for contractors that also turned out to be gems. Highly recommend Rico and shutter outlet. He knows his trade inside and out.

We were very happy with Rico's service. Installed the blinds almost two years ago and love the quality of the blinds. One of them snapped just recently and he was quickly able to come and fix it for me. Thank you again for your exceptional service.

Had a great experience with Rico and team. Product is of good quality and the price was the best I could find by a large margin. I did mention to Rico on his first visit I was hesitant due to a few bad reviews I've read on here but he assured me I would receive top notch service.Fast forward about a month and I have all my blinds installed and they look great! (Just installed minutes before writing this review)I'll be using Shutter Outlet again when needed, and I'll be happy to recommend to friends and family in the future.

Very disappointing! I came across the Shutter Outlet at the Home Show, 2015. I obtained a quote for shutters from Rico which was quite good, claiming they want “volume so they can offer competitive prices.” This much is true but I later learned that the cheaper prices directly affect the customer service and quality of product you will receive.The product itself I would rate as “ok” but overall, substandard. Some of the parts are cheap and began to fall off and have come unhinged. Despite being told to call for any post-installation adjustments after shelling out thousands of dollars for this work, I’m still waiting for replacement parts since November, I’m stuck with a blind that was manufactured and then installed upside down (despite two initial visits to verify measurements), and no bottom trim for the blinds to my sliding doors so they’re hanging an inch from the bottom, unframed, and are therefore unfinished. The work was not only left incomplete but worse, since November, I have sent two texts to Rico from which I got his read receipts but NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER about any of these issues. I followed up with a voicemail and my call has yet to be returned after two months. It is quite obvious that despite three attempts to contact Rico and his company, that neither he, or anyone at the Shutter Outlet will be calling me back so I am stuck with an incomplete installation and some outstanding deficiencies.My advice: I would not recommend nor refer! Buy a product that will hold up better and be backed up by a company willing to stand behind it and offer you far better customer service (BEYOND the initial sale and installation). After the thousands in cash was handed over on my job everyone from this company vanished. And, probably chasing more “volume” while leaving their paid customers in the dust with incomplete installations and unaddressed deficiencies. Not standing behind and fixing your product or your work and not calling customers back is simply unprofessional and unacceptable as is an unfinished job. The “volume” sought will soon dry up from bad customer experiences and reviews that I’m sure will follow mine. Great salesmanship. Zero follow through.

WOW...all I can say is WOW! If you are looking for a great price, without compromising quality and workmanship, then Rico and Shutter Outlet are for you! Honestly, when Rico and his staff come to take measurements, and they show you samples, it doesn't justify their finished product! The finished product is better than anything you could have imagined! I feel like I am living in a different home! Please do yourself a favour, don't waste time shopping around. I did and not only did I get the best price from Shutter Outlet, I got the best job done as well! On top of all that, their professionalism is unparalleled. Trust me, if you need window coverings just call them NOW!

The Shutter Outlet has done an amazing job with the installation of our California Shutters; they have completely transformed the look of our home. So awesome! Rico was such a pleasure to work with and on top of things when we had a small issue with the design of our windows interfering with the frame. We are also extremely pleased with the installers who were both professional and knowledgable about the product.
