Susan made the most incredible cake for my husband’s 40th birthday. I wanted something special for this milestone birthday and she delivered!!! Delicious, moist and just the write amount of sweet. I also wanted a special treat on the side which she managed to incorporate right into the cake decor. I highly recommend susan and I will continue to use her services. Not to mention susan is such a lovely person. She is a pleasure to talk to and do business with.

Not only is Susan a wonderful, kind-hearted person who truly loves to create for her clients, she is also the best baker in town! Susan's cakes are gorgeous to look at (I've seen many) and they are incredibly delicious. She uses as many local ingredients as possible including True Grain flour which is organic and trust me - it makes a difference. If you can, allow Susan to decorate your cake with her own beautiful home grown floral and you won't be disappointed. Our cake was Lemon with a home made lemon curd and it was (almost) the best part of our wedding day. Thank you Susan!

I just recently ordered a chocolate cake for my son's graduation. The cake was just the right amount of sweet and was perfect for our little celebration. Susan meticulously decorated with some fresh flowers and butter creme in the school colors and it was so pretty! My kids LOVED the cake and said it was one of the prettiest and tastiest cakes they've had.I've also worked with Susan on a few wedding editorial shoots and her cakes are always stunning and match the theme every time just perfectly.Thank-you so much Susan!

We absolutely loved our wedding cake and cupcakes from Cobble Hill Cake Co. The whole process of planning, ordering and pickup were seamless. The pressed flowers and greenery were exactly was I envisioned - thank you! We enjoyed extra cake and cupcakes on our honeymoon too!

Susan made a cake for our wedding this summer. It was honestly the most beautiful cake I've ever eaten. Plus on top of that it was super tasty. We had the chocolate caramel with a buttercream icing. So good!

I had some of cobble hill cakes and cupcakes. Susan was sweet enough to give me samples of all and even had vegan options for my friend. The cupcakes were perfectly sweet and moist! love her cakes, ill be back for second ;)

I want to thank Susan for making my hubby's bday cake on such short notice. It was a beautiful nearly naked cake and it was a complete hit, in both taste and presentation! I saw some comments below about the cakes being oily, but I have to tell you that our cake was so light and fluffy and perfect! Thank you Susan for being so accommodating! I definitely will be back for more!

Recently tried some of Cobble Hill Cake Co's cake at a friends. Not a huge desert eater but it was offered to me so I gave it a shot and thought I would leave a review (my 1st ever lol) after seeing a myriad of up and down reviews. It wasn't really moist like what you would get in a usual cake. Being rather granule in texture, the only way to make it appear moist and hold it together is a lot of oil I suspect. Perhaps that is due to the ingredients used but I prefer cake to not to be so oily. The icing appeared to be a meringue type and was overly sweet so I had to scrape it off, just could not eat it. After checking the prices on the website I was a tad floored at what they cost and what you are getting taste wise. It appears they are more of a visual cake vs a delicious one (just personal preference of course). You are essentially paying a premium for a drip cake with plants and flowers on it. The reviews seem fishy as a few appear to counter the negatives written by other individuals. Some simple searching and investigating on Instagram and Facebook have lead me to discover that the four 5 star reviews are all from family & friends. Her son, husband, son’s friend (maybe girlfriend?), and another friend. Very easy to figure this out and that choice to have family members & friends boost your public ratings to counter the negative ones is a serious conflict of interest. Why not be the ethical aspect of your company and own up to those people who were not happy with your product, ask them (publicly) what the problem was, apologise, and tell them you want to make it right and wish for them to be happy with what you work hard to make? Owning a business is about making people happy with your product, not for self fulfillment. If you struggle with customer service and people skills then why not have someone else to handle that portion of your business? Having family and/or friends falsely boosting your review score vs truly being concerned that legitimate paying customers are not happy with what they paid for does not bode well for the future of your business nor does the idea of you making high risk (dairy) food products in a home based vs food safe kitchen (if true, I have no idea other that what I have read here). I wish you luck on your endeavours & remember, the customer is always right. ;)
