Choosing a team to look after your boat(s) seems like an impossible task. They need to have a hugely competent mechanic, the right team and leadership - and be well organized. All of those features in Muskoka/Seguin/Parry Sound just seem elusive. We started using One Way Marine three years ago and are hugely impressed. Lori and John and their team are great. Pricing is competitive if not more reasonable than elsewhere for storage and prep, mechanically they are fully equipped with a knowledgeable team and things are ready when they say they will be - or if there is a challenge, they communicate openly and quickly.I give them 5 stars. It’s not easy to run a business that while year round actually has two seasons of incredibly demands - spring open and end of summer close - and they still manage to operate it almost flawlessly. At their new facility it may seem a little jammed - but a closer look and you will see Cobalt’s, Donzi’s, and everything above and below and in between.Lastly, being off the water is not a disadvantage. Sure, launching means a drive to the lake, but keep in mind how it is a distraction for so many marina’s. It’s fuel service, dock maintenance (that customers ultimately pay for), logistics issues, higher taxes and expenses (which again, customers ultimately pay). Having your boat pulled out and brought to a site that is focused on service, repair, storage - is a huge benefit in my opinion. Every marina on the water I have been to has always had the mechanic running to a boat at the dock half of the day as somebody arrives with the need for an instant fix or a question. Now I have an off lake marina, I’m not sure if ever go back. These guys are good and we highly recommend.
