Helpful staff selling lazy boy furniture. However after purchasing $4000 + for 3 prices of furniture, one of the chair arms came loose within a week of having it. I’m told that the they don’t service outside of the city and I must bring in the chair for servicing. I’m only 75km from the store and they do deliveries on occasion which would cover the gas. Hell, I’d even cover the gas as now I must find a truck that can accommodate the chair since my car will not. After looking at the underside of the furniture itself it does appear to be made with cheap particle board. I could have paid 1000 for a 3 piece cheapie set at the Brick if I wanted particle board. Perhaps Lazy Boy isn’t the quality that it advertises and perhaps the Norte Dame Boys should review their sales policy to ensure customers are aware of the servicing limitations.

We bought a laundry pair and a range. Our dryer had failed and needed one asap. We got exactly the models we wanted, however the dryer was back ordered. NDB did everything in their power to get one and we got our dryer in a reasonable amount of time. Wanda provided excellent service. We will be back. We love the products.

I love buying 24 white stoves. They fit perfectly. If you need any appliances or furniture make sure you stop in. They have a staff of no other. Lay Boy anyone. I love this store."

Great in store service - this is obvious for sales purposes.In store I was promised the delivery of new appliances along with the removal of the old appliances and the hook up of the new appliances for an extra charge.The delivery guys were great. Unfortunately they were never trained how to Hook up the dryer on the side and they do not carry any tools to actually do the job - because they were not trained. No leveling of the washer or dryer (need a level for this)… no metal tape to seal the dryer vent back up. No wrench or vice grips to hook up the water lines.Unfortunately services were offered that could not be fulfilled upon delivery. When asked for a refund, the managers response was that 'anything else (on top of a delivery) is a bonus'. The manager then said he would send his men back to pick up the new appliances, which I agreed to on condition that they bring back in my appliances they took out. He said they will NOT bring in the appliances they took out. I told them to stay off my property in that case and leave things as they were. I ended the conversation before it got to carried away over $50. Regardless, this is poor customer support.I suggest you stop offering services you cannot fulfill. Simply state you will deliver, remove and put in place - customer to hook up.. - and ensure everyone including your sales team are in the same page.I am a strong believer in customer support and this was a real poor experience. Needless to say, you have lost a potential returning customer over $50.

Like many of the other comments I am reading, my experience was this place had horrible customer service. DO NOT SHOP HERE. I spent a lot of money for a top of the line appliance only to find out it was damaged. They offered a replacement to be delivered a week later, which is fine, but they wanted to charge me delivery! When they messed up by not offering me an inspection. Wanda was no help and lied to her customers. They lost a life long customer as well as any people we would have sent there way. Go to Roy’s furniture MUCH better service

I purchased a couch and two recliners in October of last year from the Notre Dame boys. I contacted the store to advise them that the cushions were already sinking. Sylvan the service manager attended and order new foam after less than 2 months. The foam was replaced in February and the service man said all the screws in the couch were loose. I then contacted them again as the same thing was happening and I found the couch getting very noisy and creaky. The store gave me corporate phone number and I contacted them Sylvan attended again and said there was nothing wrong. They kept telling me to contact corporate. Corporate tells me to contact the store. I have made over 10 calls between corporate and the store to no avail. I did speak to a very nice lady who advised that the file was closed because Sylvan did not send service records or photos they requested. They asked me to send pictures and they would contact the store to get service reports. I received an email from corporate saying I had to deal with the store. I advised that I was very unsatisfied and felt everyone was just going to delay until the 1 year service plan expires We called sylvan again he he said there was nothing he could do. I would never purchase anything from Notre Dame Furniture as the had been giving me the run around far too long, spend the extra and get good service Not impressed and would never recommend them Out sale person Nadine is awesome and tried very hard to help
