Amazing food and friendly service.This food tastes like tacos at a Mexican mercado. Slow stewed meats, fresh veggies, and salsas.A good array of Mexican sodas made with cane sugar.A great addition to the neighbourhood!

Sitting in one of torontos slowly gentrifying neighborhoods is this wonderful small authentic Mexican restaurants. I came on Taco Tuesday and had three delicious vegetarian tacos. The decor inside is lovely, I sat on the patio, which is shaded but the concrete jungle neighborhood devoid of trees and plants is a bit depressing and the street noise is loud. Not Tito’s fault! I highly recommend coming for good inexpensive food and lots of options especially for vegetarians

The food was horrible. As you can see we ordered 4 carnitas tacos but it is sitting in a pool of oil and grease which is absolutely unacceptable. I truly could not eat this because it was soggy and drenched in excessive amounts of oil. Wasted about $30 on 4 tacos from ordering on Uber eats. The sides of rice and beans were also so tiny and just not worth $6 each.We went back to show them the excessive amounts of oil that was laying at the bottom of the box of tacos. Instead of giving us new tacos, they decided to just put the same old soggy tacos into a new box and say that the oil is now “gone”. Poor customer service all around, extremely disappointed. I would not recommend this place, save yourself time and trouble.

Really good food. Homey, flavourful and moderately priced. Service was quick, if maybe a little quiet. Large party of about twelve people just finishing up when we arrived. Dining room could use a little more decoration as the room sounded empty and hollow. Nevermind that. The enchaladas were very flavourful and moist. The salsa rojas was fresh. The tacos were also moist and flavourful. Cilantro may be a little heavy-handed for my partner, but no complaints from me. What was told to us as a spicy sauce was only mildly so. Again a little too much cilantro for some. The only very small criticism was the Guacamole. Lots of onions and tomatoes, but light on he avacado. More of a chunky, oniony, tomatoey salsa-esqueserving instead of a predominately avacado dip. Maybe it's me, but either not enough dip for the tortilla chips or too many chips for the guacamole. Definately worth the visit.

Finally had the chance to stop in and grab some food and boy! The wait was totally worth it. I'm so happy I found a traditional Mexican food place because finding one is close to impossible. The food was amazing I had tostadas I can't wait to bring everyone here to enjoy some delicious mexican eats.

Very nice meal! Good service and pleasant atmosphere. First time there and ordered the Corona taco platter-15 small tacos of carnitas, bistec and pastor fillings. Good balance of flavours and ingredients and the right amount for the two of us. We actually had 2 tacos leftover. Only comment would be that the meat was a bit dry vs made to order but still good tasting. Interested in going back to try their other dishes.

Amazing place to enjoy with friends and family, the presentation and food was excellent.I had dinner this evening and the food reminds me Mexico city. The service was amazing, the waitress was pretty friendly I will definitely come back again. Excellent Mexican restaurant!

Amazing food, friendly service and reasonable price. They have Taco Tuesday special and we got 6 tacos for 4.Tinga de Res and Pollo con Mole were our favorites but we also tried Nopales (cactus) for the first time and loved it (see picture). Definitely going back!

Tita's Mexican Food, St Clair
We really wanted to love the place since service was great! The space had great potential since the are seems a little underserved by independent sit down restaurants.The food was very hard to swallow since all the proteins were dry and/or overcooked. Portions were big so we definitely didn’t go home hungry but was not impressed by the quality of the food. Would definitely return if improvements were made!
