Halifax Backpackers Beach House Hostel
I love the concept of having budget accommodations outside the city centre, near areas you can swim and get away. I stayed in the private room with my boyfriend for only one night but I found the place very affordable, the room clean, the staff welcoming and I slept really well. The building and grounds themselves could use some love.

Halifax Backpackers Beach House Hostel
We were able to get a room due to a last minute cancellation at the beach house. If you like being in a quiet area, but want to be able to drive into Halifax, then the beach house is a good option. We got to wake up to an incredible ocean view. The hostel was cozy and had a homey feel to it. The price was very reasonable, but the kitchen could use a little TLC. The bed was actually really comfy! The owner then gave us a list of places to visit for the day after :)Thanks again for your hospitality!!

Great price, staff was very friendly, great location (only a 5 minute walk to the ocean) and the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

I biked out to the Halifax Backpackers Beach House from Halifax on the COLTA trail with a friend. We arrived at HBBH to find it warm, clean and cozy. Such a great location, and beautiful view!

This beautiful, quiet spot was the perfect overnight spot while biking the trail between Halifax and Golden River. It's close to the beach and had great Wi-Fi, clean bathrooms, and a welcoming common area.

Great location and amenities, really chill place. Close to multiple beaches, good for staying on the south shore. There's space to park.
