Ever since my daughter joined Gracie Barra Laval, I have never seen her more excited for anything in her life! Regardless of how tired after school she is or how much homework she has, she insists on never skipping a class! I can see her gaining more self-confidence with every day she trains. I have Professor David Guigui to thank for that as well as every single coach there. Thank you for the family you have invited us in! Keep it up!

I have been training in martial arts for 25 years. From all the schools I have visited, GB Laval is one of the best. It's a great school, their staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They also have a really good kids program.

I've had the opportunity to train and teach at Gracie Barra Laval for over 5 years now. It is a great environment for beginners to come and learn from a legitimate Black Belt with a wealth of knowledge, as well as experienced practitioners to take their game to the next level. I would recommend Gracie Barra Laval to parents looking to get their kids exposed to real life self defense scenarios, and is a GREAT place to build confidence. Professor Guigui has over 20 years experience in Combat Sports. It is a rarity these days to have somebody with so much experience still teach all of the kids and fundamental classes. His style is realistic, fundamental, and effective. Highly recommended!

Gracie Barra is more than just a place to learn Jiu Jitsu. Not only do you find a new family, but you also get to train body and mind. Aside from Jiu Jitsu, coach Guigui offers Boxing classes and Yoga. He is a very dedicated coach. His priority is your well being and to get you to reach your own full potential. The place is always clean, staff is courteous. It's an overall great place for kids and older people. Flexible schedule and lots of parking.

Tough and fair. As a parent of a 9 year old, I couldn't think of a better place to help him pick up valuable life lessons. Self esteem, self defense, concentration are all on the menu. The staff is professional and the courses are catered to various skill levels. Coach Guigui is a unique no-bs leader. A+. Would recommend to all.

We’re new to BJJ and since the first class everyone was very welcoming (including other students). We were paired up with people that have been training for years and they were very patient in guiding us through the proper techniques. Very well structured, excellent communication and extremely courteous.
